I think it's pretty cool that they're retconning Namor to be ancient pre-Columbian Central/South American, along with implementing a similar style and history.
It was a joke. He killed his girlfriend who was black and I was making a joke saying that's the reason why people hate him. Killmonger did a whole bunch more that made people dislike him but not nearly as much as Loki and Wanda to make people think he is irredeemable. Even in What If.. marvel didn't want to make him redeemable. I thought it was weird. I hate the word "woke" that sh*t is starting to make my skin crawl.
You dont have to be physically strong to take on a threat. Shuri, if she is the new BP, she can be a more technological BP to combat Namor. But I don't think people are going to like that since the purists know how strong Namor is. Regular Tony Stark was doing just fine in his suit against Thanos.
E-Man, who started the whole #RecastTChalla movement had a whole blip theory storyline that could bring another T'Challa back to the MCU. I think it's pretty solid. It will never happen now that he put it on YouTube it though. Marvel can't use this now.
