it’s their life. They’re incels. They have comic books, the internet, video games, their job (maybe) and possibly board/card game tournaments. You should see the audience at MCU first night fan events. Open weeping, screaming…it’s a lot.
I love watching the Dora Milaje fight…when they whooped thrift store Captain America’s ass, that got a head nod and “I see u” from me
Yeah. If you mention a redemption arc for Kilmonger people call you a hotep and think you're a misogynist or something. At least online. I really think it's because he killed his girlfriends in BP. Killmonger shouldn't have killed his girlfriend, lol
this right here for me. I envy people that love this comic stuff so much they are on the verge of tears. but these BP Wakanda tears feel forced.
That’s crazy to me. Lol, nobody even knows his girlfriend’s name. She was in the movie for like 2 minutes. Wanda the most selfish person in the MCU…she’s a full on villain with no redeeming qualities she was about to kill that girl to take her powers, was abusing people in Wandavision, and smoked about a hundred Dr Strange disciple packs in the latest movie…she turned Reed Richards into spaghetti and blew Black Bolt’s brains out Wanda should be the most hated
y’all hating because they caught that Black Panther fever… stop it symptoms include massive hype levels and crying
I personally wouldn’t care if the panther mantle was taken up by a woman, but just anyone but Shuri. She’s just the least convincing badass you can imagine coming out of Wakanda. And on Killmonger, it’s more about having such a great actor with the physicality to be amazing in the role, and the studio painting themselves in a corner with the character where he’s very much dead and there’s no effort to seed a revival of some sort. I guess if it turns out to be Danie Guierri or whatever her name is I’d actually be okay with that, but please for the love of god… Shuri… fck. But the film in the trailer looks actually very well shot and the director I have a ton of respect for so I’ll just wait and see. But killing off Michael B Jordan was so stupid imo. Kind of makes me think about Love and Thunder and how they might regret who they killed off there.
I'm a recast TChalla person, but I will say that Shuri looks less child-like in this trailer. I can see Suri as BP the way this trailer was cut. It was really well done. I really like they way this movie is looking even If have problems with killing off T'cahalla.
Marvel has done a really good job before with some that look like they’ve never picked up a dumbbell in their lives, Brie Larson especially. So I’ll hold my judgement. But yeah… I dunno about recasting. You’d be walking a tight rope seeming like you aren’t paying homage etc. That’s why I’ve been like crap… with Michael B Jordan you can basically recast him with some sort of 15 minute character arc or an assumed character arc off screen. It would almost be like what they are doing with Daredevil. If you got good actors kind of on the chess board already, take ‘em.
Killmonger fcked up so bad, it would take a whole movie to give him a believable redeeming character arc he “killed” T’Challa and killed Zuri, burned the heart shape herb, and started a civil war in Wakanda When they’re dressed in all white and dancing, it looks like a celebration of Chadwick Boseman/T’Challa’s life. When it comes to Chadwick Boseman and a BP recast, u can’t really compare it to the likes of Batman and Peter Parker. There’s been so many Batman and Spider Man movies done each within their own short contained universe. They weren’t part of something as big as what the MCU has done. They did recast War Machine, but that’s pretty much a nobody character, and it was when the MCU was still a baby. they recast Hulk too, but Hulk was the 1st or 2nd movie from Marvel, and they don’t even acknowledge it…movie wasn’t well liked either
Trailer looks good then I again I have very little emotional connection to the Marvel stuff in general....I mostly enjoy them but I'm not crying and cheering during the movies like the superfans......
That scene where the queen screams how she has lost everything calls for desperation. Why not bring back the guy who wanted their race to win. I think the story is there. At that point, all interest are aligned.
Oh you know he will be in here. The director is Ryan Coogler and he's had MBJ in every one of his movies so far
