I mean- this series would have been even more lopsided if we cared enough to pitch our leverage relievers. Most of their runs came against starters in the 7th inning or guys who aren’t going to pitch in the playoffs for us.
Correct, hence the rest. Professional players play through "sore". I think facing a LHP on a Sunday was a classic "rest day" setup. "Sore" is coach-speak. For perspective, I put on an absolute show at the gym with my workouts even when I enter the place with soreness.
Sure but it’s a little concerning given his nagging hand injury. Will probably bother him on and off until the offseason when he can get it properly treated.
Just got back to my son's place in Spokane Loved watching the game and it was sweet to see the Astros win. ( Saturday) But the fans suck so bad. The group around us booed ( of course) but also were yelling things like "next time hit him in the face" when a pitch was high and inside on Altuve And " YES. He totally deserved that" and "stop being a baby there's no crying in baseball" when Meyers got hit. The drunk lady behind who us kept yelling " Winker I love you" kept kicking my wife in the head ( about 6 or 7 times) and then apologizing and saying it was an accident. Then she would say " God how can anyone be an Astros fan they suck so bad" when we turned back to the game. We made it through the whole game but my wife was literally terrified they were trying to make an excuse to physically jump us.
My experience with Seattle is that it has the rudest people on earth, but I have never been to New York City.
After many prior attempts at finally getting to that magical . 667 winning percentage, we finally get there at 64-32.
