Ken Paxton for sure. He's already indicted and under multiple ethics investigations. He has no business being AG or even a licensed lawyer.

 

Exactly! How has he avoided court for 7 years with felony charges? As for Ted, well he broke his ethics too promoting the big lie up to Jan 6th. He was a big part of the lying and attempts to throw out votes with all the frivolous lawsuits, wasting of taxpayer dollars and his sucking up to Trump. He still sucks up to that impeached psycho. He has no ethics. He is as power hungry as Trump.

 

Trump absolutely is responsible for many of these folks going to jail. There is a direct connection between his Big Lie to them believing it and taking the actions that got them into legal trouble.

Suicide should not be politicized. Without more info on why we don't know what pushed someone to that tragic end. These are so personal that we usually will never know (and should not any way for the privacy of the family). If the family releases a statement, then ok... Without that, using a tragedy of suicide to push a victimhood narrative is lowlife.

 

This is to everyone here. The mods arent' going to do much. Clutch has said for decades he doesn't like this forum and only keeps it going so it keeps this stuff from spreading to other forums. This forum is really the b@st@rd child of CF.net and Clutch and the rest of Clutch crew neglect it as such.

I like this forum, I like this community but as I said in another thread this morning I'm a nerd and @sshole who loves to debate. That said I try my best to not get worked up over this and keep in mind that most of this is just distraction. Most of us don't know who we are in the "real world". We could be on a transcontinent flight sitting next to another Clutchfan and likely not know who it is. This is a virtual community and as such it is made of projections of who we want others to think we are.

That can be liberating in that it means you can let your Id go and insult people in ways that you wouldn't do in other circumstances. It also though means that a lot of this has no meaning beyond Clutchfans.

For example one of my favorite attacks was back when this site was flooded with PRC rabid nationalists. One of them once told me on this very forum that I would "never be welcomed in China" because I said I supported the Dalai Lama. Well a few months later I was in the PRC on a trade mission for the city of Minneapolis and was very welcomed.

 

Considering he was recently one of the most powerful men in the USA, seems perfectly reasonable a statement was issued.

Perhaps had they put on a defense and he testified (which he claimed he was going to do), he would have been acquitted.
