I like them but now that I’m seeing some of the other helmets coming out it’s sliding down my list. I really wish the Texans would do a sweeping overhaul of their uniforms.
Even after all this time, I still find the Texans' logo on the left side of the helmet to be weird. I get it can't be the same as the logo on the right side (i.e. the one they market on t-shirts, caps, etc.) because of the eye, but maybe they should have gone with the one logo (a la Pittsburgh) or something else on-standard like a logo in the middle?
A lot of bland helmets imo. Mostly just black and white. The Texans not going with simply a white one is honestly surprising. Its actually one of the best looks of those. Panthers and Cards black ones are cool. The rest are pretty lame.
I actually like the white version. Needs a few tweaks, but it's solid. I said this the very first time I saw it and I cannot stop being bothered by it either. See above.
Maybe the Bungles helmet pattern could morph during the game and during plays, kind of like Rorschach's face.
I've heard this for years - and maybe I'm just graphically challenged or something but I cannot see any difference between the left and right side. I've studied the logo from all angels and I just don't see it - it looks the same - can someone please explain the left side/right side logo thing to me so I can see it as broken too?
Beast as I can tell, the head is angled up on the left whereas it looks like it's lowered on the right. It's such a miniscule difference, though. Hard pressed to see why it's distracting.
There should be some clockwise rotation of the logo on the right side and counter clockwise rotation to the logo on the left - y'know like a bull charging at them, much like the flag on the right shoulder of US military uniforms indicates forward momentum - the Texans logo should never be rotated in manner that looks like they "just took your best shot" and may be about to fall. I see the logo on cars like that - like they've had a few too many and are going over backwards at any moment. The logo should be rotated regardless of side like it's charging ahead.
Thanks for the visuals, @J.R. ! I just find it weird they'd market the logo one way and for half the game, viewers are seeing a different logo. @Summer Song Giver, the asymmetrical logo placed on a car definitely leads to some interesting orientations!!
