Assassination??? Oh Commi.......you just gotta commi. Hyperbole much .............now, this should not ever happen but there is no context other then someone taking the mike from him and 2 old white dudes doing there impression of WWE. I know you posted this late last night and are probably having issues with your feelings after watching the gop take down your overlord......errrrrr.....trump
Come on O`s, your better then that, I wouldn't even call this a fight let alone an assassination attempt. With that analogy, do you think he would be charged with attempted murder or an assault charge, I guess every fight now is attempted murder??. Perspective my brotha.........
I'm just saying is that if he had actually inflicted a wound, would that change our estimation of how serious or trivial this incident was?
That double bladed device could have caused some damage. Thank goodness the congressman was not seriously injured. IDIOT but I guess it happened to the wrong party ala biden catching covid did not DIOT. A republican president acquired covid and spawned a passionate 84 page thread.
That's the worst "stab" attempt I've ever seen...almost like it was setup by someone close to the Congressman to boost his numbers and play that old victim card even harder.
Dude must be high, insane or stupid. Attempts a stabbing when the country is awash with guns? Anyway, glad Zeldin is okay. I do think it's crazy the attacker was charged with attempted assault. Isn't attempting to assault someone an assault? (A quick google search says some states require only an attempt or a threat of assault to be assault with success being called battery, while other states call success an assault, and an attempt merely an attempt.) Whether it was an assassination attempt I think depends on the state of mind of the attacker. If he was trying to influence the political landscape by killing a candidate, it's an assassination attempt. But at the moment they aren't even trying to call it a murder attempt. Maybe it gets upgraded later.
Fetterman is one of maybe 2-3 politicians in the entire country that "get it" and it makes him... but unlike AOC or Trump, he doesn't insult the intelligence of the people. I am sure the next tactic will be to go after his wife. Sorry but his response is brilliant....
This. There is a strong sense of populism in the GOP because of Trump. So we are seeing candidates that are not qualified but have name appeal or possibly charisma.
The Zeldin Murder weapon: Spoiler Turns out he was a drunk vet. Cons are howling across the internet how the dude was released on bail, but apparently don't understand the privilege of a drunk white gai who was "merely doing drunk white gai" things.
