i think that was a couple of years ago when verlander was giving up the homers. To his credit though, if I remember correctly, they were mostly solo shots in the 1st or 2nd inning.

Talent, anlytics and just straight owning their asses since 2015 will do that for you. The players with this org just go out and do their jobs. They remind me a lot of NE, we're just missing the other chips.

Garcia needs to hurry up and get through this inning so he can try to go 6.

Can't afford to have another 4 innings required of the bullpen.

So typically in a DH, are relief pitchers normally available for the 2nd game after being used in the 1st game?

How do you go from 25 pitches an inning (1-3) to 6 pitches an inning (4,5)?

I watched in amazement that season as he ended up with only 66 runs given up but yielded 36 home runs. That has to be one of the highest HR:R ratios by a pitcher in history.

So yeah a vast majority were solo home runs (I would guess 30 of those 36).

Yankees being very aggressive with their relief pitchers in trying to avoid the double header loss.

I would be surprised if we scored another run the rest of the way.

So can Garcia and the bullpen hold them to 4 runs?
