I would assume so, some of his former college teammates called him “T” or “Ty”.

 

Fun Fact:

Tyrone Power was inflicted with multiple venereal diseases.

Correction: Errol Flynn had multiple venereal diseases, not Tyrone Power.

However Flynn and Power were best friends and were known to share everyone and everything, so draw your own conclusions.

 

Dad was married to my mother at the time, who was living in housing provided to married non-commissioned officers and their families. As far as I know, Dad didn't get that drunk. ;-)

Good to hear. It's encouraging that Ty or "T" is okay with the abbreviation. Constantly having to type TyTy when discussing our new point guard would play hell with my primitive keyboard skills, and I think he's going to be discussed a lot. Stone managed to give us another outstanding draft, in my opinion. I like Ty's game a lot.

Good idea, people will continue to post goofy threads though. If someone posts in the random trade thread, they might get 2 or 3 responses. If they start a thread they get at least ten times the attention, even if it’s negative.

 

Why? It’s a cool name, joining the ranks of other franchise greats like ‘Sleepy Floyd’, ‘World B. Free’, and ‘Moochie Norris’.

How can you forget Bol Bol and God Shammgod?

 

I was only looking at franchise players, there are indeed other great ones association wide!
