Groping a woman?? Over the last 25 YEARS??

You've got to be kidding me.

All this 25 years of frustration and they come out 6 days before he is running for Governor of California??

    All I can say is:

    HOW CONVENIENT!!!!

    The mud is getting desparate.

"According to the women's accounts, one of the incidents occurred in the 1970s, two in the 1980s, two in the 1990s and one in 2000."

I don't think Arnold should be governor. The fact is he groped several women over three decades and made inappropriate, sexual comments to them. When he grabs a woman's butt and makes a remark like "nice ass", then that is clearly inappropriate. It is criminal behavior. The average person in the workplace would never get away with such behavior. Most, if not all, of these things occurred when people were doing their jobs around him while he was representing himself in his job. I don't know if he feels because he is the supreme bodybuilder and terminator of the world and all of these things(lol) that he can do these things but he has to know the difference between right and wrong.

All those questioning how it is coming out now. No, it's really not just coming out now. If you recall, then it came out before but it wasn't as important to hear it before now so it was largely ignored. It should come out now, anyway. You have to know about how a candidate behaved before to determine whether he is a candidate for governor or not. It's up to each person to make that decision but all people our liable for their actions. How you choose to live life and the decisions you make affect future events. Arnold decided he wanted to be governor and he had to have known his past would come out.

If I'm in California, then I wouldn't vote for Arnold. I can overlook some dope smoking and partying. Hell, I could even overlook Arnold sleeping around at an orgy(if mutual consent on all sides). What I can't overlook is this criminal behavior toward women. I believe he had such an ego that he felt he could just do whatever he wanted without repurcussion then or now. He may be right because it seems more than half of California voters are willing to overlook these things and vote for him probably not so much based on his qualifications(which he has none) but his celebrity.

Why should he be rewarded for sexually harrassing women? A late apology doesn't exactly make up for it. This should affect his votes in a negative way. Also, the Hitler admiration comments don't help any and his father's membership in the Nazi party isn't exactly comforting as he grew up in that household.

I like Arnold as a bodybuilder and an actor. His past indiscretions may be okay for those categories but not for governor IMHO. But, people have been willing to forget and forgive for other politicians' sexual indiscretions so maybe this is acceptable behavior in today's modern society except by the minority...including me.

So, Californians vote no to Arnold and let Arnold go back to movies so he can make "Terminator 4" on his rowdy movie set where he can be in his element and grope some more women. The fact that it went on for so long over many years....why should it end now? You can't just turn off behavior on a dime when you want to run for governor.

Okay, I will direct Arnold to your mother, sister, or girlfriend. Maybe all three. Okay by you if he gets "playful" with them? Good.

There are now 15 different women who have come forward. He is not denying their stories. It's disgusting, but not surprising. Even worse, the fact that he has given no concrete platform still doesn't bother most voters.

"I will balance the budget without raising taxes, without making cuts to education." Oh, really? When are the space aliens landing, Arnold?

A thread from 2003. It seems almost naive the concernes expressed about Schwarzenegger and whether he was fit to be governor compared to the previous President..
