LOL most days you and @tinman make up 3/4ths of the first page and pretty much every post. And like clockwork, tinman is going to reply to this referencing the 90s.
Just covering all bases with the last post...I dunno wtf is going here or if it is even legitimate...but juice you are right and agree with your last statement.
I'm a borderline suicidial alcoholic who gets drunk and posts angry nonsense when I drink. this has resulted in a certain poster bothering me outside of D&D and urging me to kill myself, which people don't seem to care about. Which is fine, I get it. Internet people aren't real.
If what you say here is true get help...Jesus Christ on the cross go and call 988 or whatever the number is and do yourself a favor. No one here knows you personally so do what you need to help yourself.
Yeah I've been doing better lately...found some local support groups that have been helpful a lot. Drinking a lot less too and reading more.
I don't think @RocPaint or whatever the **** his name is should encourage anyone to kill themselves, for whatever reason. Who gives a **** if you drunk post nonsense? Fatty did that so much it was a meme, wasn't it? I have enjoyed your contributions, whether we agree or disagree. I too am probably an alcoholic that drunk posts nonsense. As Casey Ryback once said, "You and me? We're the same." I love ClutchFans, have been coming here since it was ClutchCity.com. There are great people and there are assholes. There are in depth discussions of serious issues (way moreso than there is any reason to expect on a Houston Rockets fan site) and there are horrible shitposts. Don't let it negatively affect your life. People have said terrible things to me here, but who cares? I have met people from here that could not disagree with me more (@FranchiseBlade, though I don't know if he remembers) and had a fine time. Most people are generally good and treat others with some degree of respect and kindness in person, especially if you do the same. If you are ever in my area, I'd be happy to get together and have a few drinks and shoot the ****, no matter what we agree or disagree on. Feel free to DM anytime. ****.
Heck yes. I remember. Rockets playoff game. Definitely a good time. I think politics shouldn't have any effect on cool people getting along. I don't have a problem disagreeing with people and still getting along with them. Sadly a lot of folks are willing to make character judgments about people based on internet posts. People who agree on politics can get along and people who disagree on politics can get along.
Not only a Rockets playoff game, but game 7 at Staples Center. A humiliating 40 point loss. The Rockets fans were ****ing representing though.
Yes. I was bummed it wasn't a Rockets victory. But I guess hanging out with Clutch Fans made it sting slightly less.
Damn, I was feeling better until you reminded me of that game... 2009 right? The Artest year where Yao went down and we stole game 6?
It was 2009, but looking back at BBall reference, it may have been game 5, that was the 40 point loss.
That 2009 team was my favorite Rox team outside of the championship teams. That team had character and knew how to make adjustments. They also played with far more heart than some of the later teams. Watching the Rockets of a few years later just jacking up threes, iso Harden and dragging things out late in the shot clock was a sad contrast to the 2009 team’s ball movement, tough D and fearlessness of Scola, Landry and Lowry.
