I've always thought wokeness was about empathizing with Black people and what they've gone through and what more than a few are still going through. That's not really something you can get through social media likes or even the internet, but a **** load of time just asking and listening. I'm not Black. I don't have to go through the **** Black people still have to go through...for them, it's not ALL the time but enough to remember how ****ed up people can be. I can kind of relate for like 1-5% of that experience, since especially after Covid, many Asians were reminded or treated as if they were guests, even if they were born on this soil and can't speak a lick of their grandparents mother tongue. But woe is Boomer. Can't talk about class or the 0.1% ...too Communist or closet commie Socialist. We gotta focus on Blue Collar Middle America and how they're down on their luck and killing themselves slowly with opiods...Them purebloods knew the value of work and the real value of Prosperity Gospel. It is really too bad we can't focus on class because the middle class and under are being sucked dry. That money is not being trickled back either. It's being parked overseas or ferrited off in some random bunker/ranch in places like New Zealand or a tax haven. It's a ******* farce, and race conflicts to make us fight each other for the scraps has been happening ever since the Patties and Dagos that came ashore with their heathen Catholic ways and tried to act like they meant something.... History doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes
All I know is that when I hear someone use woke as a bad thing I have a feeling they are a bigot or racist. They are usually the same types that are quick to point fingers at black criminals, defend white criminals, and make fun of gays or call anyone not bothered by how gays choose to live as pedophile groomers.
So if a black person isn’t completely down with that term, do you call them bigots and racists? Are you going to tell me that there are no black people that feel that way? You like generalizing or stereotyping entire races of people. Not everything equals racism or bigotry. Your post kinda does though.
You sure love your little buzz words. If you think you’re under my skin, you give yourself too much credit. You earned that mustard.
I agree that I didn't word that right. I agree, not all people using the word woke are racists and bigots, but a huge majority are, because they use that word a hell of a lot when it comes to disagreeing with those who want to be treated as equals, or those not like them. If a black person used it that way then I would probably think they were either a racist or a bigot too. It's not weird to think that when most people using that term in a derogatory way they are usually in agreement with GOP anti-LGBQT bills, which stem from bigotry. Most of the far right white racists in the GOP use that term a lot as well. Most of the people who use that term over and over and over in here are are all onboard with stereotyping the left as "woke" like it's bad are white. Those are just the facts. Speaking of grouping cultures or people in stereotypes, ATW, and a few white guys on here are the Kings at using the word "woke" in a derogatory way towards people & cultures different than them or all Democrats. Go ahead, you have a whole lot of anti-woke white guys and a black guy on here you can start preaching to.
