Aestheticians and masseuse that are affiliated with an actual business in some capacity are the majority. Licenses masseuse has nothing to do with it. If you want to say they’re doing illegal things because they’re not licensed, fine. But to assume they are prostitutes because they haven’t been licensed yet, says more about you.
Aestheticians are not LMT's. And being afilliated (working) with a massage business without a license is illegal. Go talk to law enforcement and LMT's about unlicensed massage. My cousin worked vice in Atlanta for years and we talked about this subject. What says more about you is how shallow you think.

Those unproven allegations held no weight in front of a grand jury. And yes, I have. Every employee wore a uniform, all therapists had a license on the wall and I didn't go to instagram to DM therapist ads. Watson steered clear of those places and 18 of the people who are accusing him can't work there.

The massage therapist community is also split on this issue. Many licensed massage therapists resent unlicensed ones advertising on places like instagram and craigslist because they give the real masseuses a bad name. They want for a law to pass to make it illegal for people to provide massages if they are unlicensed. Sexually assaulting a prostitute is still sexual assault.....the attempt to paint every one of Watson's victims as prostitutes is merely an attempt to smear their character and is absolutely no defense for Watson's actions. So even assuming the attacks on the victims character are true, Watson STILL belongs in prison.
Those laws varied from state to state. By July 2020 in Texas, they were virtually nonexistent as long as you wore a mask. You could go to a barber, nail place, or a masseuse by that time in Texas. They weren't violating laws by providing massage services in Texas.
