I don't understand why people on both sides of this stupid BLM vs ALM thing don't just agree to make it: Black Lives Also Matter.
BLM has the implied "too" with it. It isn't a statement excluding any other lives. It wasn't her poster she defaced. Missing recess seems okay for that.

Yes, they may be guilty of giving the white majority too much credit for unstanding the demonstrable suffering of African-Americans in the criminal justice system. But it would be racist of them to presume ignorance. So they weren't racist in trusting people's understanding.
Sure, it's still taught today thanks to those that are fighting for these things to still be taught...but there are those that wish for these things not to be taught anymore and they are almost always conservative. This is why black people don't vote red and why it will continue to be that way.
Sure, I'm not arguing that it isn't taught or especially wasn't taught, I'm arguing that there is a movement to NOT teach it or to downplay it...you know, like wanting to call slavery "Involuntary relocation" I'd like to make sure that it is still taught but you see a lot of these people hide behind getting rid of 'CRT' to try and remove as much of black history as possible. For instance, there was a mom's group in Tenn that did want to ban books about MLK and Ruby Bridges...
