Not a part of this, but I think the $20M/year needs to be at least 3 years and guaranteed to make the words of the bet to match the spirit of the bet (i.e., at least $20M each year in guaranteed money, with 3 years without team options included). I think this could be a hollow victory for you if KPJ got $20M a year, but it was only guaranteed for the 1st year.

 

Considering 63 players will make over $20M this season, I wouldn't be surprised if KPJ gets that if he puts in an improved season. Whether or not he would live up to that contract is another question.
