he might be the dumbest candidate ever…he makes Sarah Palin look like Isaac Newton

every time I hear him speak, he sounds like 1 of those mentally challenged cartoon characters from back in the day

I wont make fun of how someone talks

but I am worried about someone who admits to have multiple personality disorder and abused his wife and is a pathological liar

I’m not making fun of him, that’s how he comes across…he sounds incredibly stupid

the fact that he’s getting trotted out there to embarrass himself is so sad…behind closed doors, all the Republican officials probably think he’s an extreme idiot

spousal abuse and/or constant lying is par for the course for a Republican official, so that’s not even anything new

Ken Paxton the accused felon is a POS. Guess he would be fine with letting his own daughter die in that situation. After all, he wanted to sacrifice Grandma to Covid no maskers, in the name of freedom.

Misleading Tweet, per WP's own article. The HHS guidance doesn't only cover life-saving emergency treatment but also "health-saving" emergency treatment:

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) sued the Biden administration over federal rules that require abortions be provided in medical emergencies to save the life of the mother, even in states with near-total bans.

“The Biden Administration seeks to transform every emergency room in the country into a walk-in abortion clinic,” Paxton said in a statement announcing the lawsuit on Thursday.

The suit follows new guidance from the Department of Health and Human Services that asserted federal law requiring emergency medical treatment supersedes any state restrictions on abortion in cases where the pregnant patient’s life or health is at risk.

Eh that makes sense to me. Im sure theres cases where the mother's life isnt in danger but she could end up paralyzed, comatose, brain-dead.

I'm a premie. Had my mother carried me to term, I likely would have died and, assuming she didnt die, her immune system would have attacked her entire body and she'd likely end up brain dead.

Pregnancy ain't a walk in the park when things go well...but people who make the laws dont know or understand woman's health. My mom had what's called pre-eclampsia: basically the immune system sees the fetus as a virus and goes haywire.

Silly GOP Ladies. Everyone knows Trump likes his girls the same age as Gaetz and Epstein do.

It's been pretty clear for a while now that the GOP in Texas doesn't care about their constituents. I don't think their voters mind. Empathy is seen as weakness.

Hopefully this "lack of empathy" loses them a lot of voters. Hopefully, all the families of all the mass shootings in Texas decide that enough is enough of the party that sold their souls to the NRA.

Hopefully the families of all the mass shootings nationwide do the same. The GOP is ignoring what matters and meddling in others' business and lifestyle choices when it doesn't harm anyone. Their priorities are so messed up.
