It’s not interesting politically to me, but it is kind of a sad, fascinating story. Injured in a fatal car crash (that kills his mom and sister) at a young age. Not only lives in the public shadow of his father’s success, but also his brother’s, where he’s trapped himself in a goofus/gallant scenario. That gallant brother tragically dies at the peak of his career, extinguishing dad’s dreams for him, and Hunter is helpless (and I’m sure embarrassed), knowing he can’t replace Beau (like JFK did for Joe Kennedy Sr. when Joe Jr. died in WWII). So in the end, he’s the black sheep/ ne’er-do-well/ blight on the family legacy. But he can’t just deal with that privately, like nearly every other adult child/sibling that failed to meet expectations. His demons and his failures are public fodder for right wing weirdos hungry for villains, half-baked conspiracies and scandals, no matter how meaningless it is to their own lives. But in the back of his mind he knows he brought it on himself (and his family).
I no more care about Hunter than I do about the GOP trying to distract with Hunter, they didn't care about all the Trump kids screwing this country and enriching themselves so whining now shows they are just b****es. DD
Yeah, on the surface he played the entitled money guy for a while, but whatever dealings happened there exacted some toll to break up his family, run up the crack n hos, and even pork his dead brothers wife to the point where the family won't associate with her anymore.
