No one got hurt or wad put at risk. I don't think there's anyone who is thinking to himself, "I'm next!" Don't see terrorism at all.

In the case of Richmond's Robert E Lee Monument, it was owned by the state and on state land. It was state government's choice that it stand (and later, to be removed), deciding on behalf of the people of Virginia. If you're a resident of a state, it's different if you have to tolerate some other yahoo's speech or if you have to tolerate the state saying things in your name that you don't agree with.

It’s more of the escalation from spray paint and ropes to explosives…. “Kudos for being more effective”.

Usually explosives aren’t you used in making statements in America, but unfortunately escalation is starting to become a trend. I’d prefer to not insert explosives into our already very loose gun laws.

I still don’t see the relevance. Are you saying it’s worse when it occurs on government property because some vague notion of “government speech”?

Once I saw this guy on a bridge about to jump. I said, “Don’t do it!” He said, “Nobody loves me.” I said, “God loves you. Do you believe in God?”

He said, “Yes.” I said, “Are you a Christian or a Jew?” He said, “A Christian.” I said, “Me, too! Protestant or Catholic?” He said, “Protestant.” I said, “Me, too! What franchise?” He said, “Baptist.” I said, “Me, too! Northern Baptist or Southern Baptist?” He said, “Northern Baptist.” I said, “Me, too! Northern Conservative Baptist or Northern Liberal Baptist?”

He said, “Northern Conservative Baptist.” I said, “Me, too! Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region, or Northern Conservative Baptist Eastern Region?” He said, “Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region.” I said, “Me, too!”

Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1879, or Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1912?” He said, “Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1912.”

I said, “Die, heretic!” And I pushed him over.

Low key eugenics niiice...its funny old school racists believed in peaceful segregation, like Hitler with manners.

Let's be real. It was in the middle of BFE and there was nothing better to do because the village sheep had a migraine.

LOL at 2 million dollars. As if anyone would pay over $1,100 for a pill, and especially a 50 year old pill. Probably worth zilch. Hell, back then people sold them for 2 dollars.

You're probably right. I'll take 'em off their hands though...and test them...for science ofc.

Yeah this is pretty blatantly terrorism...at least if we're going by the State Department's definition which includes crimes against property. It's also more than a little concerning people are blowing up things they consider satanic when you consider how much is considered satanic by some

The cops said they cost 2000 dollars each. For that reason, I'm out.

As I understand it, this is written for a post apocalyptic world where we've wiped most of ourselves out through warfare and overpopulation.

It's no Taj Mahal, but it's a largely inoffensive piece of art on private property that someone blew up because they thought it was Satanic. I thought conservatives cared about private property, but I suppose religion triumphs free market principles

So random people can just blow things up that they find offensive now? That's the basis we're establishing?
