    Nope happened under Trump’s watch.

What about the oil bust? That started in 2019.

Not only is applying "Well it happened under Trump's watch so he is responsible" an overly simplistic and ignorant approach, it kicks as hard as it shoots. More people died from Covid under Biden's watch, than Trumps, in the same time frame, so I guess Biden is responsible and a murderer. Add on to that gas is high NOW, inflation is high NOW, crime is high NOW, energy is high NOW, all under Biden's watch.

"DeMoCrAts JuSt wAnT tO pRiNt MoNeY".

"Trump still wants negative interest rates, but says Fed Chair has improved | Reuters" https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...but-says-fed-chair-has-improved-idUSKBN22P38I

So which one is it buddy? Is inflation caused by money supply excess or supply chain constraints? Because if it is, the last president wanted NEGATIVE INTEREST RATES during a time where the economy was growing and possibly forming a bubble.

You think Mr. "All I care about is quarterly gdp growth numbers for my election campaign" is going to solve inflation?

Biden is slowly losing the New York Times

Most Democrats Don’t Want Biden in 2024, New Poll Shows
With the country gripped by a pervasive sense of pessimism, the president is hemorrhaging support.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2022/07/11/us/politics/biden-approval-polling-2024.html

    excerpt:

President Biden is facing an alarming level of doubt from inside his own party, with 64 percent of Democratic voters saying they would prefer a new standard-bearer in the 2024 presidential campaign, according to a New York Times/Siena College poll, as voters nationwide have soured on his leadership, giving him a meager 33 percent job-approval rating.

Widespread concerns about the economy and inflation have helped turn the national mood decidedly dark, both on Mr. Biden and the trajectory of the nation. More than three-quarters of registered voters see the United States moving in the wrong direction, a pervasive sense of pessimism that spans every corner of the country, every age range and racial group, cities, suburbs and rural areas, as well as both political parties.

    ***
In a sign of deep vulnerability and of unease among what is supposed to be his political base, only 26 percent of Democratic voters said the party should renominate him in 2024.

Hunter Biden can film himself committing crimes (illegal narcotics, human trafficking, illegal firearms possession) and he knows the cops won't touch him.

maybe it's time for a dedicated Joe Biden Super Aging thread

    https://thefederalist.com/2022/07/12/as-democrats-and-the-media-turn-on-biden-remember-they-are-the-corrupt-regime-that-empowered-him/

    excerpt:

“Biden, At 79, Shows Signs Of Age And Aides Fret About His Image,” reads a headline on the front page of Sunday’s New York Times.

It’s a goofy article, one that reluctantly tries to tackle the president’s publicly deteriorating mental faculties while claiming he’s still more fit than either Presidents Ronald Reagan or Donald Trump (Republicans). At one point, the reporter even cites“experts” who “put Mr. Biden in a category of ‘super-agers’ who remain unusually fit as they advance in years.” But foolishness aside, there it sits: an article questioning Biden’s fitness for office on the front page of the Sunday Times.

And they weren’t done: “Democrats Sour on Biden, Citing Age and Economy,” the top headline read in Monday’s New York Times. “Poll Shows Most Want New ’24 Candidate as Pessimism Becomes Pervasive.”

The online version of that piece even includes a box titled, “The Biden Presidency,” which breaks down “where President Biden stands” “with midterm elections looming.” The five categories are titled, “Struggling To Inspire,” “Low Approval Rating,” and “Questions About 2024,” as well as “Staff Changes,” about the “increasing number of West Wing departures,” and “Rallying Allies,” about the conflict in Ukraine.

Combined, the Sunday-Monday front-page punches make clear that the Times regrets putting the president in office as much as many of his voters do.

“So now, the corporate media and Democratic establishment that picked the Democrat candidate, worked to install him as America’s president, and virtually dictated his White House’s policies are trying to sulk away and avoid blame for the decline. Now they’ll point to his age and his cognitive decline on the front page of the Times. They’ll discuss it once again on Twitter. But it’s all just a game.

Of course, Biden is old and experiencing cognitive decay; he was two years ago when he was picked and everyone watching knew it. He’s been in the limelight for literally 50 years, so we can all see the difference.

The fact is that the American regime ignored and hid this because they hated Trump enough they were willing to do anything — anything — to defeat him. They did this, and the hard reality is this isn’t a Biden problem; it’s a regime problem.

So when his old friends in the party and the media try to eject his presidency, remember that they created it. They empowered it.”

I think voters in the middle may have actually taken the cognitive decline thing slightly more seriously if the Republican nominee wasn't Donald Trump. I never understood focusing so much on this attack, it'd make more sense if the nom was like DeSantis or someone. Granted I'm not sure self awareness is a strong suit with those making the attack
