You want to be the team that trades a top 55 protected 2nd round pick, not the one that pays him. ;)

Timmy doing Tilly's bidding by lowering KPJ value publicly.

This happened during Harden trade and D'Antoni contract negotiations.

What do you mean? We have no business giving up the world for him at this point.

The real questions should be...What happened to the Nets, and what are the implications for Durant? Is he on his way to Miami or Toronto...and for what?

What do you mean? We don’t have the cap space to give him a respectable offer.

Need to jump into this trade as third team to snag Myles Turner.

C'mon Stone, the iron is hot.

    Time to strike!

one shooting coach wont do it...you need 15 of them, one for each rockets player...
Stone/Tilman need to hire these people now or stop pretending he cares about winning...

yeah that and they need to fire lucas cause he couldnt teach nobody to shoot for 10 years in a row now....
    TAKE THAT FOR DATA

Need to double down on defense and trade for Myles Turner AND Thybulle.

Let's aim for a transcendent defense.

Need to lean into the new defense first culture AND character of this team.

Trade for Myles Turner and Matisse Thybulle.

I wasn't really sure what thread to put this thought so it's going here- Something I really appreciate about Stone is that he seems to be very smart about contracts and not locking us into anything really bad and longterm. He's kept a lot of flexibility and gave himself lots of outs. Even the Theis contract, probably the worst one he's given out, he traded away for expirings half a season later.

I see people saying we should go after some players that are likely to get overpaid like Ayton and Sexton, likely just because they are available, and I don't think that's Stone's MO at all, and I really appreciate it. Not that it's a complete sin to overpay someone a bit, but early in this rebuilding process keeping the flexibility and not locking us into bad contracts is really smart and good/

Even in potential EG and Christian Wood trades, he made sure we didn't/aren't taking bad money back, and he shouldn't unless we're getting dollars on the dime

For those on the Victor Wembanyama train, this video is a great summary of my reservations about him. In short, virtually no player above 7’2 has had a successful, injury-free career in the NBA.
