bro, you want so bad for us to regret the Rockets picking Jabari for some reason. Im just commenting on what just happened. There is no point trying to minimize Paolo's game. He has played great. Rockets were fully prepared to pick any guy that fell to them at 3. give it up.

you trying to create discourse is weird.

There's really no reason for people to argue Paolo is better than Jabari, other than trying to prove that they were right. We couldn't have picked Paolo even if we wanted to. What's the point?

It's like arguing Cade is better than Green. So what? Cade's the #1 pick. We picked second.

Jabari's pissed off face at not getting drafted #1 overall is pretty funny now. Hopefully he realizes why the draft fell the way it did.
His offense and handles need a lot of work. It's actually more far behind than I expected. but I love his defense, rebounding, and overall effort so his base is good so I'm not too worried.

Embiid, Kat, AD? Superstars who dont really create for others? Klay Thompson, Devin Booker, Kawh?

Who said Jabari cant create for himself? Dude's making all these tough shots in college. He is playing like a scrub now but its not like he cant do **** in college. You act like all he does in C&S in college, lots of his shots were with defenders right up his grill.

Problem with Jabari is he still too young a lot like Jalen Green. But unlike Jalen Jabari is already a decent defender and rebounder so at least even if he shooting blanks he can still contribute.

It ain’t college anymore….it certainly ain’t the SEC basketball anymore. Jabari had a very poor 2pt%.

Embiid and KAT have handles and can run an offense, especially the latter. Hopefully Jabari can get to that level.

Can you define what you mean by handles and running the offense? Kat and Embiid arent exactly pgs why you think they got Harden? Kat had 1.1 ast in college when he was the same age as Jabari so is that your definition of handles and running the offense?

Jabari having poor 2 pt% has nothing to do with his handles. Ayton has 60% FG and has 0 handles. Chet Holmgren whi everyone is saying has great handles had an even lower 2 pt% than no handle Jabari tonight lmao

That's not his skillet, he's not likely to ever run the offense.... that would be shoving a cube into a round hole.

His game is spacing the floor because players are worried about his shooting. We have Sengun, KPJ, and maybe one day Green to run the offense.

We know the guy can shoot, haven't seen him have an open shot yet. That will change when playing with the more talented core.

    11 rebounds, 4 steals, 3 blocks.

Guy just plays to his strengths and he will be fine. Absolutely no reason for him to be a shot creator with Green, KPJ and Sengun on the team.

I am excited for this season. This draft class is full of active defenders lead by Jabari. The offense will come, that doesn't worry me

Even with his off shooting night, if he shot the three closer to his average he'd have 18-21 points which he certainly will start hitting those shots

He doesn't have to be a primary facilitator. He wasn't drafted for that reason.

LaMarcus Aldrige never had the lateral quickness to cover people that Smith has. Our guy can cover 1-5 and be the best DEFENDER on the team. I'm sold. **** the haters.

Dalen Terry can make a good entry pass and he can slash too. His jumper needs to get better, but it's not bad. I like him. I like Tari Eason more than him.

Bizarre some people are acting like they somehow know based on these 2 games how the top 3 picks will pan out. Amazing. You should play the stock market. These guys are just 19 and playing against summer league talent. It seems to me the best you can do with watching this is a) have fun and b) gain a tiny bit of insight about their skills. A lot of superstars took a year, two or more to develop - look at James Harden.

I mean we “could have” technically - if stone’s offer enticed Orl - but it didn’t. Sounds like Orl knew Banchero was the best talent in this class
