Stone's out here telling Jabari to just keep shooting and he's had a good game despite the misses. Agree.

Stone's love affair with Nix has me questioning his talent evaluation

Whenever Stone actually says something in interviews, I like what he says. His approach is one I generally agree with.

Dieng having shooting struggles too. But both he and Jabari have a lot of hustle.

I like how Stone cant take his eyes of the court during the interview. He knows much more about fundamental basketball than Murray

    Rafael:

What are you seeing from Jabari?

Really happy. Super impactful defensively. We’re not concerned with Jabari shooting the ball. Like the way he played today.

What is the next step for the Rockets?

Continuation of the end of last year. We have talent. It’s about being consistent and being better tomorrow than you were today.

When you look at the draft, Jabari will be the focal point but Tari has impressed us.

Tari has been the guy we thought we were drafting. He gets after it. Energy is always there on and off the court. Tari goes hard. Big fan of those types of players.

    Josh Christopher?

With Josh, I thought he played fine, played well the first game. Better today. We know he can score. It’s about rebounding, little plays on defense, good defensively on the ball. We’re happy with his progression.

Value with TyTy Washington at 29?

We had TyTy really high. He’s a good basketball player. He’s always been better at the game than everyone else. We’re excited.

    Roster wise?

We have a ton of contracts. We have to figure out who we’re keeping. We’ll figure it out. Entire team made it (to SL). Only guy who didn’t make it was Boban.

Vegas most fertile place for potential moves?

I don’t think so. Time to focus on your team. Once you get through the draft/FA, it’s about your group. We’re looking for internal growth. We’re not one piece away. We’re excited about the guys on the court today.

How do you get Jabari to not put pressure on himself?

That’s my job and our coaches job. Playing well is not about making shots. This is a great opportunity to tell him I thought he played great. I could care less if the ball goes in. Whole key is take the same shot every game, the shot you practice and you live with the results. Whether you play well depends on everything else you do (rebound, defend, pass). To me, he’s had a good game.

    Daishen Nix?

Really excited about Daishen. He’s an old school throwback PG. He pushes pace, sees the court really well, his basketball IQ is really high, he’s in an enormous body. I’m excited about Daishen.
