One of my neighbors mow their yard at 8:00pm piece by piece for 5 days straight...Hank Hill would not approve.

About the only thing worse than the 105-107 degree temps around here is the 105-107 degree temps with the threat of it sprinkling around here ... :(

My pool water is at 92 degrees now - it's literally too hot to swim.

Not holding chlorine at all and that **** is expensive!

My pool's plaster is in sad shape (etching, etc.) as it is original from like 2000. In the summer, I've been guilty of just dumping 3-month algaecide into it and not keeping up with the chemicals. Obviously, not swim-worthy water when I do that. lol But, I don't like swimming in hot pool water anyway...as you alluded to.

My pool requires a lot of Alkalinity Up and Muriatic Acid. Else, the chlorine will not be effective obviously if Alkalinity and PH are out of whack. If I leave it for a few days, then my alkalinity will go down and my pH will go up...which kind of confuses me because I've read those two tend to go in the same direction. lol. Always have to be on top of it.

A few raindrops and all the mosquitos start gettin' busy. I can't smoke in my backyard at night without getting slaughtered by them.

I dont blame you. Just never outsource it to a professional.

Pool boys, like pizza delivery men, are notorious for having sex on the job.

Man, damn the mosquitos. I'm more worried about it being 100+ degrees, it sprinkles, and I walk out into a steam bath for the next few hours. lol. :D

It’s 106 at my house right now. Crazy hot and it’s going to start getting real sad around here with the death of trees and large plants if it doesn’t ****ing rain soon. This is starting to transition into 2011 but earlier in the year this time.

I’ll pass. I’d rather water my yard and soon to be foundation everyday in this heat than deal with that again. Having said that, you’re probably not wrong because it seems like it takes a flood to get out of this heat/drought 90% of the time, every time.
