It has Sila's dirty paw prints all over.... This is the same tank strategy, the guards do what ever they want and ignore the best player on the floor. Green was criminally ignored all year. Same with Smith tonight. There seems to be no authority from him, no order or direction...

somebody in this twitter space (the one with Clutch) made a good point: Jabari is playing like Mobley did last summer. Mobley also needed guards to pass to him and he looked like ass because his summer league guards were ass.

    i dont trust Silas though.

Nix played 19 minutes had 4 assists and 1 turnover......with ZERO movement out there.

Ty Ty played 28 minutes with 3 assists and 1 turnover with ZERO movement out there.

Neither looked all that great - Hudgens actually looked better as a scorer......

Our lack of coaching and movement is killer if you are a PG, .....you have no help.

I watched him all year in person.....he needs improvement but he can create off the dribble. He was 43.5 % on 2's. He was 42.3 % from 3, and his eFG% was 52.1%(3's count more than 2's)...that's why it's stupid to have 10 shots for the game. He can D up and he can take over a game as he did as a go to guy for Auburn. If our guards want to act like he's not out there, it's a lose/lose for both the Rockets and JSJ.

Banchero was 2 missed shots from having a bad game as well, he cooled down in the second half.. I don't feel like we got an inferior player, Banchero is years away from doing what he did in the 1st half of summer league in the NBA... Smith will have a better rookie season.

Absolutely biased but I have a good up close look at him as a season ticket holder.

I thought Jabari was okay. Solid but was underwhelming. Loved what Tari was doing at the boards. Although he still needs to develop his shot. Tyty was good as well.

We need another big next year. Hopefully Wemby

What do you mean? About our coaching? I have been complaining since he got here, I think him and his father SUCK as coaches.

Silas system is that 5 out read and react offense rare half court sets lots of iso's
That style typically works better with high IQ superstar level players Harden, Luka, Lillard etc.
Not rookies who are still learning the NBA game and speed
He needs to cater his offense more to his players

What’s bad for Jabari is that head coach Silas doesn’t have any game plan in the game. Our players are playing games at will. Jabari possibly runs back and forth only on the court.

"learning the offense, learning the system" wait til he finds out Silas has none.

Dude had 17 pts on 12 shots, 6 asts vs 12 tos. In comparison Jabari had 10 pts on 10 shots. Pretty clear who had an efficient game.
