It only happens on Safari desktop, not Safari mobile or Chrome on either. I did a 'Remove All' via Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data for clutchfans.net with no change.
have had similar issues since yesterday. tbf, there are several sites that struggle with safari, ESPN is one. I think there's an issue w/ security certificates?
Safari has been all kinds of weird today. Pages locking up, embedded media not displaying. Switched browsers and it was fine
I'm seeing the same thing on my Windows laptop, using Microsoft Edge (which I think is similar to Chrome). None of the embedded tweets are showing up. Kind of a big problem, given how common it is for people to communicate on here by just posting Tweets.
Might have to fix the issue with embedding x(twitter) links now. They don’t work when trying to paste
AdBlock extension on Chrome is making all tweets "This tweet is unavailable" So, basically Xwitter xweets are all ads now?
To answer my own question, I guess until @Clutch adds the x.com domain for embedding, we have to paste the x.com "Tweet" link via the web editor with the little "link" button (to the right of the "A" for formatting text), then manually go in there and replace the "x" with "twitter" and then click "Insert".
The same "tweet" with x.com doesn't embed: https://x.com/MittyRockets/status/1691872390127469024?s=20 But if you do the following steps, then it does: 1) Click the little "Link" symbol to the right of the "A". 2) Paste the x.com link for the respective tweet. Manually go to the "x" in x.com and replace it... 3) ...with the word twitter Voilà. It only works if you go through that little "Link" icon - just replacing the "x" with "twitter" in the main Editor window doesn't get it done.
Tweets and Xeets decided not to load for me...both on pc and android. Did something change on the bbs? On Xitter? What settings should I check?
