Yeah the same stone who's the gm of the worst team in the league 2 years in a row. awesome! stone is answer to everything LOL A player who knew he wasn't coming here but but but Stone. it made no difference what he actually thinks
Chet and OKC were on a straight line towards each other. Could be that Chet, like Mobley, just had no interest in playing for the Rockets for whatever reason.
To be fair he did the right thing which was to tank. I don't want to draft at the 14th back to back like we did in 2010-2011. Don't think you can fault him for being the GM of the worst team in the league 2 years in a row when that's the smartest thing to do.
nah. the rockets lose games because they aren't good enough. "tank" is way too often confused with suck. you lose this many games because you suck. They go hand in hand. Calling it tanking is something folks want to use so they dont want to admit a team sucks
I don't think so because teams often draft players that have no interest in playing for them We valued Green more than Mobley whereas this year we were the 3rd pick so we didn't have a say unless we move up. At the end of the day we got better with whoever we drafted at the 3rd.
LMAO! Whatta DUMBASS! Now yer gonna disparage Stone for his record - WHILE WE ARE TANKING! They guy who ACED this draft - and did very well last year! ARE YOU FREAKIN SERIOUS! LMAO your refusal to just admit that MAYBE you weren't as knowledgeable about aspects of Chet as you thought... and maybe your attacking of others was out of line... is just AMAZING! a drowning man grasps at straws... and it's hard to win an argument against an intelligent person - but its IMPOSSIBLE to win an argument against a STUPID person! smdh...
there’s a reason Chet’s agent never sent over his medicals while Jabari’s eventually did after the Paolo odds shifted…Chet’s agent never thought he would last past OKC, while Jabari’s thought his chances of sliding to 3rd were high enough to send the Rockets his information
you're under the impression that this article somehow is relevant to you. It shouldn't. Nothing has absolutely changed in the last 24 hrs since you were checked LOL.you're literally crying hilariously this morning over something that isn't even relevant to what you're spinning. but but but Stone. gtfoh this is why CF's has gone downhill in the last couple of years. you're a perfect example
The Rockets were scared of Chet. Not blaming them - with a body type like his and no medical records, there is always a risk. And when the two teams with his medical records pass on him, that could be even more of a red flag. In the end it all worked out like most teams wanted to. I am pretty confident the Rockets were fine with either Jabari or Paolo. OKC always wanted Chet - and Orlanda landed on Paolo. The only real "casualty" here is Jabari, who was sure he was going #1 the day of the draft. Now he should show everyone, why the Magic made a mistake.
Tank, suck I really don't care what you call it. We needed to lose. That's the right thing to do unless you love being stuck in purgatory. Hinkie/Presti gets called a genius for being a GM of bottom 2-3 teams, but when Stone does it he is bad? I'm not sure I follow. I'm not saying Stone is a top tier GM because he just started and needs more time to prove himself, but calling him bad because we lose is not it. You need to bottom out before you become a contender again unless you are the Lakers. When you trade away a star, you always want to make sure you have the chance to draft at the top 3.
There teams have sucked too. that's why they've been at the bottom. They may had a piece or two but obviously that's not enough to elevate a team as a whole. The point was using Stone as some end all barometer ain't it
denial denial denial... what do you want? Obviously the Rox wanted no piece of Chet given the info at hand. That was the opinion i had... You felt you were more knowledgeable and gave 100% endorsement to Chet. Stone and others - who obviously know more than you - said no, there are concerns - we'll pass.. So in light of the fact that your opinion is contradictory to people that get paid big money and do this as career - you chose to double down and attack Stone - rather than simply admit you may not be as knowledgeable as you think you are... what a freakin narcissist! smdh...
Chet wanted no piece of the Rockets. It literally doesn't matter because he wasn't falling past okc. And you continue to want to act like this is relevant to you. Nah What does Stone know? So far it's things like signing scrubs like Theis to overpaid multi year deals and nwaba and being the GM of the consecutively the worst team in the league. He also hired Silas. Offered an extension to Oladipo. Thank god he declined. Again just a stupid use of a barometer. You're literally using him as this know more than you logic for the dumbest reasons and what a time to try and use this silly logic
They literally told John Wall to stay home. the plan was to lose games dingus. You are more than welcome to find a new team to root for. It’s a lot easier than finding something to b**** about during a rebuild
lmao... you just keep spewing stupidity... lol just keep attacking Stone... deflect away from your obvious ignorance... its easy to see how you amassed nearly 40,000 messages in around 10 years... and THEN you have the audacity to say OTHERS are responsible for the downturn on this site? lmao! Yeh, it couldnt be the 40,000 poster who cant simply say "huh, maybe there are factors at work here i'm not privy to..." nope... double down and attack!
John Wall wasn't going to waste his time playing meaningless games and lose on the worst team in the league. Especially coming off an Achilles tear and injury history. makes 0 sense to do so Exactly what horford did in okc and folks thought he was "done"
Yeah im glad you noticed. Clearly you did since you wanted my attention this morning and continue to want it
i mean someone tagged and quoted a person today to begin everything and it wasn't me. So someone started to drive this and again it wasn't me. I wonder who that person who started to cry this morning
