    Sengun is a play maker.

there's five spots on the starting line up.

    Smith- Pf
    Green - SG
    KPJ - PG
    sengun - center
    tate/bird/idk - sf

Where would u even slot in ben simmons, a natural pg that has yet to play a single game last season?
idk how folks can still have a weird a$$ fascination with a dude who has yet to play a game last season and can not shoot to save anybodies life.

So he is a pretty good SG after all. Unfortunately we have a much more promising one already... and when you try to play KPJ at 1 you get a gem like 41.5 FG% for a season, which makes Westbrook look like an efficient player. Let's hope Nix or Tyty outplays him and he can move on to his natural role as a bench player (or to another team which would be my preference).

Can we stop with this Nix or TyTy will take KPJ’s spot? It’s not happening!! What true point guard has been winning championship? Steph, Jrue, LeBron a point forward… tell me this true PG that’s winning all thing rings recently!

Oh no need for true point guard, just an efficient one with some vision. I would not mind Steph or Jrue, but we just happen to have Nix and Tyty.

And they might one day be decent backups to KPJ....or if not, we'll look elsewhere for a backup PG.

    That’s where Sengun comes in

I think KPJ/Green/Jabari could make us one of the best 3pt shooting teams in the league

I was surprised to see that Houston takes and makes more 3s than all but a handful of teams...but of course they don't shoot them at a particularly high clip so that's propped up on volume right now.

I get some people like him but posting random people from Twitter who nobody knows doesn't validate the opinion. No different from the people here who want him gone

Not at all. My opinion is just that. It's no better or worse than these people. They are random fans like me. I'm also not spamming any social media on here though

IF I were to post a multitude of different sources that all point to Kevin Porter Jr being viewed favorably it would still not align with your own personal opinion on him as a player. As a Rocket fan I sure hope he can become a foundational piece. You have a right to your own preference as a fan not taking that away from you. Rebuild is still young a bunch of different things could happen at the position, but my hope is he can win fringe guys like you over with his play this year.

I don't want him part of this team. Absolutely, if he makes me eat my words I will be the first to admit that I was wrong but him quitting at halftime and his past history indicates he's not a building block. We essentially got him for free, gave him a second chance and he pulled the same garbage. I don't like that type of player around Green. Like I said though, hopefully he proves me wrong but the other issue is we have to pay him. Not ideal there

So what? Why would he be happy after putting in an immense amount of effort at the position and showing great improvement. I’d be disappointed, if he said sure put me with the second unit. He and Green seem to adjust very well to sharing playmaking duties, and, then, we get to add Sengun into the mix. This team is going to be explosive offensively. We, like the rest of the NBA, don’t need a prototypical PG. The game has changed. What we do need is a coach that can adjust to his players’ skill sets. I hope Silas is that guy.

Unless Stone pulls a new starting PG out of his hat, KPJ is our 1 this year. The way Nix looked last night, we may need a backup post haste. Nix is a better player than what he showed in the 1st SL game and JC should be working on his playmaking skills as well. Hopefully, the coaches get these guys to focus on playmaking, because that and defense is what is going to get them on the court more often.

You don’t need a traditional PG.

Clutch bucket getters are hard to find. Scooter is one of those. His game is still developing and nowhere near its final form, but his court vision is good enough to be labled a "point guard" ... the distributor role should run through Sengun more this season to exploit the catch and shoot ability that Kevin has.

I really can’t wait to see the contract we give him. The organization doesn’t give off this message at all. Silas & Doris went on like a 5min rant during last night during the game about how much of a joy he is to talk to and basically how much Silas & the organization likes him

Unless this is all a master plan to tank by Stone but I think KPJ & Green are gonna raise some eyebrows next season
