yeah you're pretty much a hater after reading this nonsense. this is what haters do. they find every which way to move the goalpost. its been moving for years with Chet and he's still laughing at folks like you. your assessment of chet has just been flat out bad for a long time

Is there someone in okc thats stopping him from being a starter and playing starter minutes? Nope.

these Chet posts are even worse than the Cade Cunningham ones last year…there will be a lot of copping pleas and moonwalking back takes in the future

    I haven’t moved on Chet . Chet don’t know me . I don’t tweet .

if he looks good vs nba players I’ll change my tune . But , he’s yet to prove it .

I’m scared. His height is correlated with increased injury risk . And giants are usually slow .

he looks coordinated , but he’s slow compared to an nba “3” or “4” or small ball “5” . He’s not mobley or giannis . Young porzingis is somewhat decent comparison , but porzingis eventually bulked up and is now “slow” .

is he Marcus camby / tyson Chandler with different level offensive skills ? The problem , imo, is that those guys had to have and develop power over their careers in order to do “big man things” like rebound and finish inside .

In 5 years Chet might look very different . It’s always a risk a big guy adding weight, running back and forth at nba speed . Chet is good in that he doesn’t have to develop too many more skills . However , he will definitely need to hone his shot and will need to develop his body .

Mobley has a good bit of development to go too right now .

and yet this injury risk from random online assessments still has yet to even show the slightest of signs. folks like you with the lazy narrative want to speak it into existence but that's all they can say every day

and no he's not slow. that's why youre a hater. why are you putting giannis name in this? he's an athletic freak. nobody is like him. Chet is just as active as mobley is if not more. if mobley is considered fast to you and on some other level above chet that's just straight laughable and another horrible assessment

Chet stepped on somebody’s foot last night…that’s why he fell

    that could happen to anyone

people talking like there was a slight breeze in the arena, and then he went flying

And he got back up, walked it off and was in the game later.

it was Harden-esque the way he recovered so quickly from that turned ankle

let that have been 250 lb AD…he’d have been out for the next 2 weeks

LOL. This whole crystal ball thing is starting to show again like last year.

This guy will be a superstar. That guy will be a bust. This guy is for sure going to be much better than that guy. You don't think so? You are so stupid. You know nothing about basketball....

I hate the Rockets being terrible. Like why are you guys so emotionally invested in arguing about who's right or wrong about a player we didn't even have a chance to draft.

I mean I get the whole Mobley Green thing because we passed on Mobley, but we never even had the chance to pick Chet.

It's not really going to matter. He plays on the perimeter very well and scores a lot in transition. On the defensive side he does a good job of fighting and he is so long with his 7'7" wingspan and excellent anticipation that he alters shots even when he is pushed out of position. I don't think he is ever going to be very heavy and doesn't need to.

He is 7'1" and extremely active so there are always some degree of injury concerns but not extreme. He is less of an injury risk than the #1 pick next year who is even longer and has a history of injuries already.

He will have issues along the way like just about every player, but his fluidity, his passing, his ability to put the ball on the floor and score and make decisions came through and there were some issues about that.

AD looks like something you’d build in a lab to play basketball and yet he can’t stay on the court. Sure Chet could be an injury risk but adding 30lbs wouldn’t make him invulnerable and could actually have the opposite effect. He doesn’t even look small on the court, he’s just skinny.

I mean we weren't much better when we were a contender. We would just argue about whether Harden is a choker or not.
