Simmons to me is like Westbrook... if you build a team around him to hide his flaws it could work.

If we surround him with 4 shooters and have him initiate then it lessens his negatives. The defense would help us tremendously. I still have concerns about intentionally fouling him down the stretch.

I think it comes down to just expirings we give up it could be worth it... not interested in sinking draft capital and cap space...

Detroit’s young star is getting runs in with other stars…our young star was in Paris galavanting around the city with his Louis Vuitton bell bottom pants.

salty post…I need the season to start.

He didn't like when Game of Zones put him in the series as Windhorse... Wonder what he thinks about all of these memes. On the one hand, it all stems from the coolest thing he's ever done on TV; on the other hand, we have all of these memes.

Wouldn't be surprised if Sixers are next because of PJ Tucker.

Jeannie is frustrated that she doesn't get to run the team as her father did. This is her reneging on the Faustian bargain the Lakers made when getting LeBron. Or at least pretending she is. It's just a different world now especially when you get LeBron. You do what he and his people want or else. The Lakers' fans will never go against her in favor of LeBron, but the NBA and the media are.

    http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2paf27y2

    Who says no to this:

premise - NBA allows Minny trade to be expanded to a 4 team trade.

    NJ
    (OUT) - KD
(IN) FROM Minny : Beasley/Beverly/Vanderbelt+ 3 first Pick
(IN) FROM UTAH - JClarkson+1 First RD pick
    (IN) FROM Sun - Saric
WHY - KD wants out - good haul with 4 first - expiring and some young talent

    Phx
    (OUT) - Ayton
(IN) FROM UTAH Bogdanvic + 1 first RD
(IN) FROM MINNY Edwards + 1 first RD
WHY - Ayton wants out. Decent return with some solid players

    UTAH
(OUT) - GOBERT, Bodanvic, 2+ first+2 seconds RD
    (IN) - KD and Ayton
WHY - its all in or bust - Team with Conley/Mitchell/Ayton/Durant

    Minny
    (OUT) Beasley/Beverly/Vanderbelt/Edwards+ 4 first Pick
(IN) Gobert + 2 seconds RD
WHY - they did the trade already but they make out with 2 seconds rd picks for their troubles.

    bash away !

what if “reports” were just made up .

no one official reported anything as done .
Just expecting that the knicks would be targeting him and would be able to offer a large contract that the mavs would be hesitant to match .

Lol. Knicks being punished by the league. Maybe a few bucks, but nothing that will hurt.

It is weird because Brunson's father is on the Knicks' coaching staff or part of their front office. So wouldn't they talk? It is also weird because so many free agents sign seconds after the free agency period begins. So didn't negotiations already take place? Maybe it's different with restricted free agents like Brunson. o_O

Minnesota isn't adding in Edwards, no matter how many picks it saves them in this deal. I'm sure they could have traded Edwards straight up (well, plus the salary filler) for Gobert, but they'd much rather deal four first rounders.
