I agree....and yet he is still there after the Rockets claimed they would
pursue a center in free agency. Slim pickens now.

I don't feel they pursed Chris Boucher, Bamba, Mitch Robinson or Jalen Smith
with much enthusiasm. And I know Silas likes his past Mavs players.

Many here like Boban; but I would not waste a roster spot on him.
Treat him like Camby his final years. Coaching/staff development
    personnel.

Blasphemous. He will lay 20 minutes a game and you’ll like it.

Boban the Great? Guy gives up 57.9% (3-pt DFG%)..... 0.9 3PA's contested per game.

And that's if he rotates to contest the 3 ?

I know you are kidding, but please.....the average 3P% in the NBA is 37%. Boban is spotting
the opposition 21 percentage points to their 3's at tip-off.

Yes, I can see Kessler used in a 2-3 zone defense.

Kessler is a little faster than Boban.

Have you seen Boban run in the past two season?

Watch him defending the PnR (drops back to the rim and is about a
    mile from the 3-pt shooter.

Sorry my friend, he is just around as salary filler in a upcoming trade in two months.

That’s a really solid coaching staff with Lucas. Love it, and glad to see Abdelfattah got a spot.

So they have one offseason to add elite spacing, elite defense, elite coaching and the favor of the NBA luxury tax teams?

Even GSW took like 4-5 years to get to the top.

Really surprised they let him go. I thought he would have had trade value. I wouldn't be mad if he came to rockets.

Like him much more than Boban.

    Only 24.

Stone needs to jump on this.

Thanks buddy. I hope Stone can snare one good player in a trade who won't hamper us down the line eg Wood. Even if he doesn’t, I'm okay with the current situation.
My hope is that the team will win 30-32 games.

    I agree.

    I had:
Rockets approximately 31 wins with addition of Nic Claxton
Rockets approximately 35 wins with addition of Chris Boucher
Rockets approximately 37 wins with Mitchell Robinson
Rockets approximately 42 wins with both Boucher/M Robinson

I got none, so we (Rockets) are back to 28-30 wins as is. Back to semi-tanking
    for Wembanyama.
    ________________________
Rockets can go so many ways or variations with the current roster.

*They (Rockets front office) are working the phones trying to be a 3rd
or 4th party in a Durant, Kyrie, Westbrook, AD, Myles Turner, others deal?

    If not...

Final option is waiving a few players prior to opening night,
as the Rockets get to 20 players through the pre season.

Obvious candidates for waiving are Boban, Chriss, Trey Burke...
But the FO may like Chriss....while Patrick Fertitta loves
him some Sterling Brown and Nwaba forever.

Anywho, I'm hoping the Rockets add Isaiah Roby to bring the
roster to 19. Rockets have first dibs on waived players.
