Some of you weren’t old enough, or born,to have experienced the beginning of MTV and when Tiffany took over America with her two single hits and mall tours. It was crazy and I was making a joke. I apologize.

The interesting thing about this is Yordan being the best Hitter with about a 200 OPS+. But Tucker has more WAR and thus a better position Player because of his plus defense. I wish we could re-sign him, but I suspect he won't settle for what we'll offer. I'm afraid he's on the Cole/Springer/Correa track out of town.

I was too old for MTV. I was still listening to Bing Crosby and Perry Como or occasionally to the kids like Sinatra and Martin.

I'm the oldest 64 year old in the world. Met my GGGrandmother who was kidnapped by Indians in 1871 when she was 3. I remember watching the Superbowl before it was called the Superbowl.

I didn't tolerate hippies and the Devil's Music. Karen Carpenter was more my style. I don't smoke and I don't chew and I don't go with girls who do. We were so embarrassed Janice Joplin grew up near us.

Yeah karen Carpenter. She wasn’t tortured. Maybe if she had listened to some Black Sabbath… We will never know.

How did you meet your great-great-grandmother in 1871 when she was 3? I don't think the physics work out on that one.

Correa had some garbage errors as a rookie too. He's still a monster in DRS, and he'll get better at the dumb errors with seasoning.

Last I checked JJ doesn't play 3-4 positions on defense.

All I know is Taylor Jones once juked himself out on a lazy pop-up in foul territory by first base to allow Fernando Tatis Jr. another pitch. The pitch that shouldn't have been is still in orbit with Albert Pujols' home run.
