I don’t understand why they don’t give Matijevic a few starts in a row to see if he can make more consistent contact. Dubon and Diaz are horrible from an ops perspective

Dusty refuses to bunt .095 Castro w runners on 1/2, no outs, and Altuve behind him but will bunt .270 Myers in the same situation but Dubon and Lee/Diaz behind him.

Head scratcher isn’t a strong enough description.

 

Chandler Rome won't be shy to ask Dusty about this after the game.

 

A fun game would be to name the best and worst defensive player at each position in Astro history. (Or since you’ve been watching)

 

Dubon at least makes solid contact and avoids the Ks, yesterday and today aside. Diaz may be DFAd depending on what moves we make in a month.

I could see this. I still think Diaz is valuable and that his bat will come around. Its tough to get it going consistently on such spotty playing time. Don’t get me wrong, I do agree with you that its time he start producing.
