I bet you Odorizzi is the type who doesn't take's direction and advice well from our pitching coaches because he's too proud and was in his eyes successful before signing with us. Click needs to give him an ultimatum..go to the bullpen or get waived.
With a massive lead in the division it's all about the playoffs. 4 starters are on pace for their most innings and Verlander is someone you'd rather not see be near the league leaders in innings pitched after TJ.
In the end, it won't matter if the offense doesn't do a thing. I would rather focus on the positives of a pitcher on our team rather than continue to tear him down. You want to wish Odo success so that the astros can get value out of him whether through trade or as a part of the rotation.
I'm still in favor of a 6-man rotation as a concept, but I'd like to see Brown and later Lance in that spot. Sucky game, but there's better things to do on the 4th.
Before the injury, I feel many on the board were giving him props. I get he has been flat out bad today coming back from the injury, but y'all are being way too harsh on the guy. Stros are 13 games up in the division and 8 games up on the Twins for a playoff bye. The team will be fine.

Okay, I've seen enough. Waive him, trade him, send him back down. Our pitching has been elite and has carried us to where we are. Mentally or physically Odorizzi is not right and needs to be off the big league roster ASAP.
