The same way Simmons controlled where and when he was traded to? If both camps are smart, they'll cooperate with each other - no one has control.
i wish it wasn't Wiggins could leave after next season and that would be a pretty bad team after that probably.
Reporting that the Warriors are "considering" a Durant trade is basically information-free. The Warriors famously consider any potential opportunity--they "considered" ways to potentially get Antetokounmpo, they considered some Klay-for-Paul-George thing back when it was reported George was unhappy in Oklahoma City. Of course they'll discuss Durant--doesn't mean they have any serious interest.
KD would have absolutely no shame or pride if went back to GS…would be the most spineless and cowardly act ever if Nets management said they had a trade lined up with GS, if he has any pride left, he’d decline and decide to work out in BK instead before going back there
yup It's most likely fake or wrong info. Wiggins is a 5 year rookie extension player and cannot be traded to BRN with Simmons already there. Without Wiggins 33M contract, the Warriors have no way of matching KD's 44M salary unless they include Klay or Dray, either of which is VERY unlikely.
What if I told you Kevin is not going anywhere and Brooklyn will still bless us with lottery picks in the near future
I think this is feasible. Durant is amazing but aging. Irving is amazing but unreliable. Simmons is inconsistent at best and hasn't played in a year on his broke back. The 2023 pick is really only a chance for us to move up into one of the spots of the lottery should they qualify and jump our pick. I don't see them having a lot of success from 2024 on.
