I can't find a team record for strikeouts in a 9 inning game.

We know 20 is the single pitcher record, so we conceivably have tied an MLB record today, but something tells me a team has struck out 21 or 22 batters before in a 9 inning game.

 

do you feel the same way about the Yankees pitching?

 

I want to know if we set a record for most strikeouts in a 3-game series.

48 is insane, you have to average 16 per game to pull that off.

 

Who needs an extra arm when a starter can pitch 4 innings throwing 20 consecutive curve-balls?

This team breaks a different record every few weeks. What a joy they are.

 

I said it the other day and I’ll say it again, you’re seeing some ALL-TIME great historic stuff from this pitching staff right now. Enjoy it because you will almost certainly never see it again. Simply incredible.

 

I'm guessing they will send Paredes back down when they activate Odo

 

Time for Dusty extension?

 

Let’s see how he manages this pitching staff in the postseason. I wouldn’t have started McCullers or L. Garcia on three days rest last year.

His only real flaw was allowing a walk-a-thon
