This huge spot could tell the story

Eta- K.... one out to go

    Eta- another huge K

Whatever was said in the mound visit worked

Some runs will make Framber more comfy

No idea what the rationale is behind shifting on Ohtani like they did that AB. They had the 3B 5 feet off the line and the SS to the right of 2B, to a hitter who is quite adept at going the other way, and a GB pitcher on the mound. Then they call a pitch to the outside edge. Makes no sense to me in that situation.

That's just idiotic. Age doesn't mean **** if he gets the job done. There have been MANY managers who screw up the managing of talent.

I would take experience over "young and innovative" every day of the week when managing professional sports teams. Young and Innovative tend to flame out.

It is has always been Dusty's strategy to rest players for the long haul. He has said as much.

We are going to be victimized by a perfect game because Dusty thinks he is coaching YMCA summer league.

They overachieved when you don't have Verlander and McCullers for most of the playoffs. Take a team's top 2 starters off a rotation in the playoffs, see how far most teams go.

I am against using the IL that way as it ruins rhythm and routine.

You can't play them everyday. Resting them 1 day is not going to affect a hot streak. If it does, then they are not as good of player as the streak indicates.

He's a great regular season manager in keeping the team together, but as a tactician... he's going to be outclassed in the playoffs.
