    Wonder who Lee will catch for his first start, don’t expect him to be out there often but I’m guessing he’ll give Maldy a rest. I could see them throwing him out there with JV like Castro did with Roy O.

    Lets just admit it’s a crapshoot. Everyone thought we were the “hot” team after running roughshod on the Red Sox. Alvarez was Babe Ruth reincarnated. And then….. not so much.

    I think we had the best team in the WS in ‘19 and ‘21. It was just a choke fest by the Astros in both cases. Against the Nationals, our hitters went into a mental cocoon and they also did against the braves (but so did the pitching against the braves). I still feel like those losses were mostly mental. Both series were incredibly hard to watch.

    Yeah Stros were the best team by almost every metric both times. 19 was wild because they were incapable of hitting at home. It was nuts
