Exactly. What are going to be the finishes by record over those trades for the Nets and the Wolves. It sure looks like the mean for the Nets > Wolves. Anthony Edwards will keep those picks in the 20's barring injury no matter what.

I wasn‘t even aware that Gobert was considered a positive asset with his contract. Don‘t get me wrong, I think I like Gobert more than most here, but I thought the contract was a little high for him and that teams like the Jazz just have to overpay their players because they are not a market in which many players want to play.

I would have thought a trade like Kessler and one more FRP plus filler might do it, maybe 2. But 4? I truly believe with that they would be close to the final asking price of the Nets for KD - who is not only the way better player, but also the way better fit. This is one of the craziest trades I have ever seen.

I wonder what the Jazz do with those picks to build around Mitchell. I saw a tweet about them being interested in Ayton but would need a sign and trade. I would never do that if I am Suns. They would become an immediate threat. Conley,Mitchell,Ayton with a ridiculous amount of 1sts to add more. Still have Clarkson off the bench.

Jazz have Conley, Mitchell, Bogdonovic. They would just need some frontcourt talent. Who could ainge cash those picks in on now. John Collins?

Wolves have a window of contention with the core group they have that should last for at least 3-4 years if not longer. It's a gamble but they believe these guys can play at a level that the first round picks won't be that high.

Clearly you've never been around someone who has battled cancer. It takes quite a toll even when it doesn't manage to kill you.

The Rockets bounced back remarkably well given what they were put through....the team who volunteered to accept the cancer is not likely to be as fortunate.

Crazy arms race going on and it's only the second day of the offseason. On the flip side, even more teams are buying their lottery tickets for the Wemba sweepstakes. Such an interesting free agency.

Now that would be hilarious to see Durant go to Utah. He'd ask out day 1

you know exactly what i meant, i have lived through teams that have had multiple top 5 picks like the kings, magic, knicks all have been irrelevant for multiple seasons because of their "rebuilding" and those teams had owners with deep pockets unlike tilman. Lets just see where this rockets team is 5 years from now, or will we still be tanking to find another jalen green, because tilman thinks that instead of paying him 200 million its cheaper to just try and draft another sg

You know it's bad when a forum dedicated to Rockets movement is filled with signings/trades from other teams instead. I wonder if Stone and his staff are on early vacation. We haven't even started filling out our coaching staff smh.

How do you figure that 4 is the max a team can offer?

OKC owns a whopping 15 first round picks over the next 4 drafts ( 5 in '23, 3 in '24, 4 in '25 and 3 in '26). They could offer 10 or more first round picks if they desired.
