I thought Cheney is toasted for standing up to what she believed.

I think Cheney will win based on these clowns...but that's only because there won't be a runoff and the anti-Cheney vote will be divided (kind of like anti-Trump in 2016).

Cheney winning the primary is a good thing, but make no mistake...she isn't really a representative of what most of her voters think. These clowns are.

I need to watch the whole debate instead of snippets like this video. Cheney sounds like a Democrat, she seems like the most polished one. I can’t believe the other candidates are that bad, especially that big blond who is melting before the audience. Once again, need to see the debate in its entirety. When you have a highlight reel, you can make anyone to look good or to look bad.

Which position sounds like a Democrat? Have you seen her voting record? She's as conservative as they come.

You know what's embarrassing? Wyoming only has one representative. This group is the BEST the state GOP could produce. For a seat many thought was winnable, these is the best Wyoming Republicans have to offer.

We can start from the top with Biden who thinks inflation started with Putin despite his own guy Jerome Powell contradicted him.

Cheney does not let Biden off the hook regarding inflation. I'm confused.

This is Wyoming, more coyotes than people. Talent pools are hard to come by when critters are outnumbered people.

Sounds like they shouldn't having a voting Rep then. Theyve got less people then most territories and DC. Move the capital to Wyoming and make it a national park then.

That or they can pull themselves up by the bootstraps and get educated. Or at least learn how to speak on a debate stage.

Liz Cheney is 28 POINTS behind her GOP primary opponent Harriet Hageman: 70% of Republican Rep's party's voters in Wyoming view her unfavorably as she faces an uphill battle to keep her seat

Another congressional term for Liz Cheney is looking less and less likely as Republicans in her home state of Wyoming continue to turn on her after she voted to impeach Donald Trump and joined the Democrat-led select committee probing the January 6 Capitol attack. Just 28 percent of Wyoming
Republican voters say they would cast a ballot to reelect Cheney in the 2022 midterms, according to a new poll from Fabrizio, Lee & Associates survey and consulting firm.

The survey of 400 likely Republican primary voters in the deep red state shows that 56 percent would vote for Trump-backed candidate Harriet Hageman over the incumbent if the election were held today. The 28 points that divide them falls well outside the 4.9 percent margin of error for the poll taken June 1 and 2 that was released this week. Even less respondents had a favorable view of their current at-large congresswoman in the U.S. House of Representative – with just 26 viewing her favorably and a whopping 73 percent having an unfavorable opinion of Cheney.

In the most recent presidential contest in 2020, 69.9 percent voted for Trump's reelection compared to the just 26.6 percent that voted for now-President Joe Biden. It was a slight dip in margins from the 2016 presidential election where Trump won the deep red state with a 46 percent advantage over Hillary Clinton.

Trump recruited and endorsed Hageman against Cheney. The backing of Hageman has drastically increased since the December poll, which came three months after Trump endorsed the Cheney challenger. The bump comes after Trump went to Wyoming in late May to rally for Hageman in Casper. In December, Hageman was only ahead of Cheney by 8 percent – 34 percent to 26 percent. That gap increased by 20 percent in six months.

Support for a third candidate, Wyoming State Senator Anthony Bouchard, has decreased from 13 percent support in December to just 8 percent support now.

An earlier Wyoming GOP primary poll from WPAi/Club for Growth PAC showed Cheney behind Hagement by 30 percent – two more percentage points than the new poll resulted.

In addition, Cheney has outraised Hageman by 2-1 and Mitt Romney is actively assisting her with this task. Suffice it to say, this is virtually all out-of-state, big donor, establishment money. It does not appear that the Republican establishment wing is going to be able to buy this election.

It looks like a pretty steep uphill climb for Cheney. She brought it on herself.

Definitely an uphill battle for her to win. However, more performances like hers from the debate will help her chances.

And the fact that she is behind in the polls speaks poorly of Wyoming Republicans.

She's insanely conservative. But doesn't push the lie about the election or support the anti-democraric aggressor that invaded the democracy of Ukraine.

Did she sound like a democrat because she was able to speak in complete sentences?
