The poster I responded to said they could replace him with a different coach and get the same or better results. That's simply not true.

Pena looked fine, that had to be simply precautionary. It appeared Yordan was trying to convince them to leave him in the game. My guess is just a sore jaw. Definitely nothing serious with either player.
Other than them both laying motionless on the ground for several seconds… “THEYRE FINE!!!” I’m pretty sure Yordan lost consciousness. Pena somehow caught the ball and hung onto it, and seemed to be in a similar daze (but I dont think he was fully knocked out). Both will likely sit tomorrow… especially it being an earlier game.
I’m pretty sure Yordan did NOT lose consciousness. He was just motionless dealing with the facial/head pain - then moved his foot later. Laying motionless can be a conscious decision given that it was not cranium to cranium or cranium to knee/shoulder. Rather it was forearm to bridge of nose and probably jammed his glasses into face/eyes. No way in hell he lost consciousness. Unless Yordan says it I call BS on this. Not saying it wasn’t serious but a hard no on losing consciousness.
You do realize that if you ever lose consciousness… you won’t recall it. Somebody will tell you you got knocked the F out… but its not like you’ll remember “hey, I was awake, then asleep, then I woke back up…” Even if its for a couple of seconds, he got knocked out. And either way, a concussion is a concussion… regardless of LOC.
Yeah well some people think Yordan came back from the dead, maybe he can recount what it felt like crossing over for that brief moment in time. And apparently Pena had a concussion, you know because his glove arm hit Yordan in the side of the face. Yep, definitely concussed. Classic case. Lord Jesus Christ where do we get some of these people?
I’m sure Yordan will know more than a fan. lol also: People who become unconscious don't respond to loud sounds or shaking. They may even stop breathing or their pulse may become faint. This calls for immediate emergency attention. I didn’t see a call for an AED or checking pulse or anything like that.
Dude… he didn’t have a cardiac arrest. He got knocked out. Do you see them applying AED pads to NFL players or boxers?
You’re proving my point that this was not too serious and no way he lost consciousness I think you’re over analyzing how completely still he was. if it was head to head/shoulder/knee then I’d be on the Nick train.
