That's true, I just assumed once cops retired in NY their premit gets revoked.

 

nope. the reason the two gun lawsuits in NY were brought was because the permit system specifically in NYC was so corrupt. retired police were favored, as were rich people who could pay the bribes

I was so worried this would end up unfair to the actual victim defending himself without shots fired,.. the young punk likely would have initiated. Bless the senior citizen- he deserved better than being told he was going to be done for by the punk and time wasted and rigamarole with the when seconds matter the police are minutes away routine

I swear I wouldn’t live in NY or Calif if you paid me a salary of 1 million a year ^ 2 mil and I would consider on a one year basis if that
