All - Looks like I'm behind the thread creation curve, but with FA starting this week, seems like a good time to gen up the new thread. With Wall bought out, we need some trade ideas for Gordon, Nwaba, Tate and whoever else you think need repatriation to a new team. Have at it.
When the contracts can be aggregated Gordon, Nwaba, Marjanovic, Burke, Brown, Chriss, Tate for Westbrook, Lakers 2027 1st (top 8 protected) Buyout Westbrook G - Jalen Green | Daishen Nix | Tyty Washington G - Kevin Porter | Josh Christopher F - Kenyon Martin | Garrison Mathews F - Jabari Smith | Usman Garuba | Tari Eason C - Alperen Sengun A fresh start, sign high-character 3&D vets in FA
Assuming Miles Bridges gets a near max deal. I’d like to figure out a way to land him in a S&T. We have the assets to make salaries match but it would require getting rid of some of our young guys. KPJ Green Bridges Jabari Sengen Everyone else excluding the 2022 draft class would be available.
No protection on the pick. Beggars can't be choosers. We had to eat Wall, we have to eat Westbrick. They get to eat their share of the **** sandwich too. Love the lineup. One hell of a way to let the team gel. Nobody coming in here to get in the way of team chemistry. They are it and they get all of the minutes. Swing for the fences after next draft in FA but that is your team that you go to war with from now on and just hope for those lottery miracle additions to keep you supplied for the long run. Ability of this team to win in long run are all of those future draft stockpiles that all teams have to surrender to make any moves. We can cheat all the way to the end.
Rockets in: Kevin Durant x Nets in: 1) Sengun 2) Nwaba 3) Eric Gordon 4) Tate 5) Kenyon 6) TyTy 7) Garuba + past Nets picks. Seems destined to be as both teams help each other out. works on trade machine
Supposedly DET and IND are hot on Bridges. We'll have to be prepared to out bid them, but he seems like a solid fit at SF. I haven't seen him much, what kind of defender is he?
Houston In: Bledsoe, Terrance Mann, 2027 LAC 1st (top 8 protected) LAC In: Gordon, Garuba Portland In: Marcus Morris, Tate, Boban Houston moves Gordon to a contender and picks up a couple picks. Possibly flip Mann for additional assets. Clippers go all in and pray for a healthy squad Portland adds more valuable vets without giving up major pieces
I like the premise of this deal but .... From everything I have been able to gather, Tate is the locker room leader of this bunch and both the coaching staff & front office love what he brings in that aspect as well as on the court. I find it difficult to believe that they trade him .... particularly so if he improves his 3 point shooting, in that case I expect they'd extend him if they can get him to agree to a favorable figure & if not, match in RFA assuming the figure isn't outrageous. In that case you still have 3 open roster spots to work with .... what are you doing with those ?

Stone would take that trade in a heartbeat. Blazers do seem a good fit for a trade partner. They have no depth, and even if their current unit fails, at least they would likely be getting a young player or 2 in any deal.
Just random. Tate Martin, Nwaba for Birch and Achiuwa. http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=24wg62v3
