Jabari has the potential to be the next KG or Karl Malone, or could be another Jordan Hill. We will have to see how develops.

He is definitely one of the more polished players coming into the league, behind only Murray of Iowa and Davis from Wisconsin.

I am glad we weren’t stuck with Banchero. I am not a fan of Duke players; they are mentally soft, wimpy and stuck up players who shrink under adversity (looking at you Jason Tatum). In the pros they don’t have Coach K to yell at them, you have to be self motivated. Fact is too many Duke players are comfortable and are hungry. Or in Zion’s case, all they do is eat!!

I see no reason to believe that Banchero would be any different.

Really interesting listen. Sees Tari as an undersized 5 and seems to really like TyTy. Also raves about Jalen Green, and calls Jabari the best prospect he’s ever coached (they had Okoro recently and he coached Tobias Harris).

Informative and interesting inside information from Coach Pearl regarding Jabari. It was quite hilarious to hear him address Paolo as Pablo though.

We are all great scouts, coaches, and general managers in our own heads. That is the fun of this board. But most of us have played a lot of basketball, watched a lot of basketball, and know basketball basics. As I have posted before, I watched Jabari play multiple times. No, I didn't have the privilege of seeing "every" player, but I saw many teams in the top twenty play one or more games. By mid season, I concluded he was the best player in the nation this last season. I know, that is just my opinion, but it is one shared by his coach. Both of us think his upside is very high. The Rockets are a team of the future which is exciting.

Awesome podcast! Great discussion between Clutch and Bima. A must listen, in my opinion.

I loved what @Clutch said towards the end speaking to David, something along the lines of, "I pulled up to your house listening to the radio and was in full denial mode. No way were we going to get Jabari, didn't care what Vegas was saying, went into your house and everyone's wearing new ClutchFans t-shirts except me. Missed the memo!"

Then everything plays out perfectly. Just how you wanted it to play out and in the past never does. Incredible. What a party that must have been!

The Rockets' rebuild has been just about as good as it gets with the last two drafts.

    The future is bright.

And on top of all this greatness, those Nets picks could become very valuable if they trade K.D. and Kyrie.
