I get it, yankee fans are hated everywhere. On a different note, yalls pitching is incredible. And great pitching will always shut down a potent offense. Honestly yankee fans should really stop hating on altuve because all its doing is giving houston fuel to go out and destroy us. Just a thought

I was originally against the move to the American League, but boy was I wrong. It's so much more fun being rivals with the Yankees and Red Sox than the Cardinals and Braves. Who cares about the Cardinals? No one! Hopefully Yordan and Pena are okay and can play tomorrow. I'm just glad Pena is still alive after running into that freight train!
Yea, I saw that Collison. I hope they are OK. I am liking this houston and yanks riveraly better than the red Soxs. I am sure we will meet in the alcs for sure.
The American League has always felt more prestigious and historic than the National League to me, despite the NL being 25 years older. It just feels like a bigger stage when the Astros play those teams, I guess because of years of being inundated with Yankees/Red Sox content from ESPN. But even in the stadiums, the atmosphere is different than stadiums in National League.
It would be us vs the Dodgers instead on us vs the Yankees. Cards/Cubs/Braves vs Rangers/somebody/somebody I love the move to the AL and all, but I miss some of that stuff. Looking forward to the "balanced" schedule next year.
Biggest thing to come out of Beltran's Basura Bash is that now every single game for the Astros is Sox-Yanks/Dodgers-Giants/Cubs-Cardinals intensity. Still have no clue why Astros-Yankees wasn't put on national TV.
Yep, especially in retrospect when all 4 games were incredibly compelling, even to non Yankee/Astro fans.
I think some of them ended up on MLBN. Baseball needs a true national spotlight game. Friday night or Saturday night would be candidates. Its amazing how much they concede trying to really get as much exposure to the game as possible, especially at a time where there are no other sports competing for this country’s attention.
Not sure what you’re asking. They weren’t the National game Friday or Sunday. I was asking if they were the FS1 game Saturday afternoon. If not, then no, none of them were National games.
