the lengths they’re going to to not cooperate, cover things up, and not release info is incredibly alarming the levels of incompetence, negligence, and cowardice must be through the roof for them to be going this far…and we probably don’t even know half of it yet
This dimension of the story really makes me sad because I'm sure Pete Arredondo wanted to do the right thing, wanted to save the lives of children, teachers, and his own officers. But it's apparent now that he royally ****ed it up in a very incompetent, very public, and very shameful way. This is a weight he'll have to carry for the rest of his life, that the whole country is looking at him and saying 'you failed completely and now many children are dead because of your incompetence.' I can't imagine the amount of unbearable shame he feels now. They're busy boning up on their fifth amendment rights.
I don't think he has any shame. Certainly no guilt or remorse. He's told lies after lies trying to defend himself.
https://www.ksat.com/news/local/202...had-gun-taken-away-after-trying-to-save-wife/ This was the cop/husband of the teacher shot in one of the rooms. She called him and told him the situation. Probably a good idea to not have the husband involve in the resuce, but only if they were actually going to try and save her instead of letting her bleed out for over an hour.

The way that the first batch of cops ran away not even looking looking back when gunman shot on them gives you a good indication why... Are there any fail-safes in a situation like this if the commanding officer is not performing his/her job properly? Anyone knows? A closed door is not a "barricade." They must serve warrants all the time and have the training for breaking doors down and clearing threat inside.
Of course they do. Hell a kid in New Mexico was incinerated recently while they busted into a house on a warrant
I saw some of those videos and it is really painful. I don't know if those LEO can be charged with criminal negligence but I'm guessing this is grounds for a lawsuit.
Nothing encapsulates the problems with modern policing better than a cop staring at his phone with a Punisher background - while brandishing a gun at nobody in particular - and children bleed out and die.
Absolute garbage cops; it's so sad that this could have been prevented or at least the deaths would have been a lot lower if these cops were doing their job. How do you hear gunshots and not do anything?
tmacfor35 says the cops were just doing their job…only fools would expect them to have done any differently, this isn’t COD
You know who stops bad guys with hypersonic thermobaric missile? A good guy with a hypersonic thermobaric missle. Refute that, libtards.
My favorite cop story is when a library put up a BLM sign and the local PD was like "now we're not going to respond to any of your calls". I think that's a lot of pro law enforcement's favorite story too, although for opposite reasons.
The man who took it upon himself to run with the good guy with a gun narrative and congratulate police…you and these ppl can’t be that stupid can you?
