Biden ‘denounces’ threatened ‘night of rage’ over anticipated abortion ruling https://nypost.com/2022/06/22/biden...ght-of-rage-over-anticipated-abortion-ruling/ excerpt: White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Wednesday said that President Biden “denounces” the threat by an activist group to lead a “night of rage” if the Supreme Court rescinds federal abortion rights. A little-known group calling itself Jane’s Revenge proposed an evening of mayhem if the court overturns the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision and returns abortion policy to states — as a leaked draft ruling indicates is possible. “There’s a group that has been distributing flyers around Washington, DC, but also across the country and also online called Jane’s Revenge that declares there will be a night of rage, looting, burning, rioting if Roe is overturned,” Al Jazeera reporter Kimberly Halkett said at Jean-Pierre’s regular briefing. “What message does this White House have in advance of that ruling as we get closer to it?” Halkett asked. Jean-Pierre replied that “violence and destruction of property have no place in our country under any circumstance. And the president denounces this action.” more at the link
And that is exactly what a President should be doing and not inviting people to DC and telling them "it's going to be WILD!"

A lot of civil unrest when folks lose their rights they expected to have. I hope the violence isn't prolonged.
When the state begins to repress freedoms, ultimately there will be a reaction. Notice that there's hasn't been a group to storm into the Capital yet though.

Imagine Biden ordering federal little green men to clear out antiAbortion protestors and going to a DC Planned Parenthood with a Bible for a photo op.
I hope so too. I'm not against people protesting and people should be protesting. That said marching in the streets of Austin, Minneapolis, or Atlanta is good but to get real change should be voluntaring to campaign in the Rio Grande Valley, the Iron Range, and the GA / TN for candidates that will vote differently.

It is a shame that some of the protests are getting out of hand. But then I find it funny how @Os Trigonum post articles about pro choice protests yet nothing about how pro lifers killed drs and staff of abortion clinics the last 50 years. This unfortunately will this country to shreds. There is no middle ground anymore it is sad.
