3rd pick is anti-climatic at this point so I'm the same way. I don't think the 17th and 26th pick really work together for a trade up so I'm thinking Rockets don't trade up. Terry and Jalen Williams flying up draft boards has hope Rockets get one of these guys or they push someone down to the Rockets. If Rockets keep No. 26, I think Boban gets cut to open up some roster room. I could see one of the PGs or wings getting a flyer there. With a Wood or a Gordon trade, I expected it would include a contract that Rockets would want to keep for salary matching purposes and a draft pick. That does not look to be the case, but the MLE should fit that contract range. Stone will have to be better at making sure that is an easily movable contract. I still think Stone tries hard to use the No. 26 for either a future pick or to potentially improve a future pick (e.g., ability to swap the Milwaukie pick with another team's pick).
