Betting lines are moved to try and make the money come in 50-50. I think this is Vegas is just trying to move more money on Jabari and less on the other two. 50-50 is the goal, not some insider news.
If it's a trade(cause of odds movement), multiple teams might be involved. Surely a lot of trades would take place in today's draft.
me too! jalen green was a homerun pick, a future superstar. now with one more pillar this year, another year of tanking and hopefully another pillar next year, we will be an up and coming nightmare in 2023. i think a lot of free agents will want to come play with us!
While I think the odds are good that the Rockets are bad next year even without betting line manipulation, I would not hope for it. The best possible scenario is that Green was legit the last 25 games or so, and the Rockets young guys are too good to tank.

he'll still be good, but without wood and gordon most likely, that'll balance it out and we'll continue to tank. our defense should be a mess. we'll tank while trying to win. i actually think kpj and tate will be traded too.
There is a wide range of good. Wood, Garuba, or Sengun on court didn't seem to matter when Green was in. KPJ, Gordon, Christopher, and Martin seemed to matter the most. Tate is like training wheels. His defense helps a team early on, but his offense holds it down from truly rising (unless he improves his shooting). If Green is not just good, but what he was at the end of last season, the Rockets are going to wreck some of the weaker defensive teams with Paolo-Christopher-Green-KPJ lineups. Big thing is the offense got too Green dependent late in the year and the backups got crushed. Hoping Nix is better. Granted, I doubt Green is able to be as good all this season like he was at the end of last, but doubt he has as many clunkers as he did early in season and in January.
kj martin will probably be benched if hes not traded or sent to g league, so thats another loss. Lets face it we are tanking again while boosting our Assets. If we were trying to win last year kj would have played over matthews. He was being stashed. getting a top five pick again and a chance at wembi is much more valuable than having a chance at the playin. we are going to develop garuba and our new rookies this year at the expense of winning. we’d be fools to overpay kpj, we need great 3 and d players instead for that money. Hell be gone by the deadline to sell high. Tate has one more chance to show he can hit that 3 or hell be gone too.
