BREAKING! Paolo Banchero Now the Betting Favorite to go No.1

I can't see the Rockets moving up for Banchero. No way.
There have been some rumours of Orlando interested in him, maybe there has been a leak. Orlando's GM statements the other day were weird... Or maybe the leak is about a trade for #1 and bettors expect it to be for Paolo but Houston actually wants Chet?

If anyone is saying they wouldn't be happy with X move, then they are being egotistical. If Houston feels Banchero is the only star in this draft, then by all means go and draft him. If Banchero ends up looking superior to the rest we will all look back and be thankful Stone traded up.

Agree. I’m happy with all of them. It’s essentially like having the first pick regardless. It’s a coin flip on who will have the better career. They all seem to be smart hard working players with pros and cons. Take the guy that is left and develop him that will likely be the key to building the team around him.

The Rockets have simultaneously:
1)traded up for No. 1 to draft Paolo
2) stoodpat and select Paolo as this is just betting shenanigans
3) stood pat to get Jabari or Chet.

 

I’d prefer Jabari or Chet over Paolo, so I’m welcoming this news of Paolo going #1!

Paolo’s ceiling is lower than the other two options, and we won’t win a championship without hitting on ultra elite prospects as our foundation. Remember, Paolo has a LOW WAIST which caps his athleticism. Concerns about his ability to create at the NBA level. Chet is the best choice if he’s there! A statistical unicorn who will be the best player in this draft. Elite level defense which is always under appreciated by the fans.

The Rockets trading up would be dumb as hell, so I wouldn't put it past them, lol. I'm fine with whatever big falls down to 3. Just stay put and relax.
