all of this is hilarious. and in the end the order will go the way it was always going to be. chet/jabari at 1/2 in whatever order and banchero 3. 2 more days to finally put this to rest and the constant back and forth
I mean I see Paolo and Chet has a tier higher than Jabari. If Magic want to take a high floor role player over either of true potential stars of the draft, be my guest. As long as Magic take Jabari, I am not going to be disappointed if Presti scoops up Paolo and leaves us with Chet.
Orlando doesn’t have a good track record when it comes to the draft…I trust them the least, and Presti the most
This really seems like an interesting situation in which Smith wants to go first, Chet wants to go to OKC, and Paolo wants to go to the Rockets. I can't imagine it shaking out much differently if (1) it's true Chet indicated a desire to play for OKC, and (2) Paolo won't work out for the Magic.
Magic probably had no intention of bringing Paolo in until they saw the Rockets interest. Then they probably tried to bring him in last minute to see if they could leverage it for some compensation only for Paolo to tell them to **** off.
It very much seems like the first 5 picks are locked in. Basically no drama.... but people will try to make it seem otherwise
I'm in the middle I don't see a superstar player in jabari Smith but I see a good quality starter who's valuable for championship team. Rashard Lewis 2.0 #2/3 best player on championship team.
Stone is not an idiot for making that trade. First round pick was available and he decided to take it. When there's good trade you strike while it's still on table. If Magic or Thunder take Paolo, they're taking Paolo regardless of Wood being traded not.
