Skill wise? I squint just right or 4-5 plays a game, maybe.

But Diaw was one of the most physical Euros who ever played in NBA and he could defend or play 1-5.

Diaw was not soft and he was D'Antoni's prototype for a positionless player. But even Diaw took years before he became a starter.

And he was far from being as physically weak, mentally soft or as unproductive as Dieng.

Early on he was, but once he got to Phoenix and latter the Spurs, he was a different player

I have heard Tari is on the Rockets radar along with TyTy. Eason may not make it to #17, but I suspect TyTy will be available to get picked then.

I keep seeing TyTy mocked to us, didn’t realize we actually had interest.

With all this talk of different wing options, I’d be really disappointed if we took TyTy there. Drafting a guy you hope might become your bench PG seems like a waste of a developmental roster spot right now.

I’m thinking more and more the Rockets might be planning on a vet or two like Collins at the right price

Drafting TyTy is going to be one of stone's worse picks in his two years, Stop playing games and get a wing. If you want a PG then wait until next draft that is a Guard heavy draft with a lot more talent.

Tyty would be an underrated pick, with some risks but

    1. cerebral guard (reminds one of CP3 in a few areas) that played in a system that limited his performance. Perfect context-matters pick.

    2. pre-injury version is close to the true version of him I believe

    3. insurance policy in the PG position

When it comes to fit, there really isn't a better guy mid draft or even late lottery for us than Tari Eason. With Sengun and Banchero at the 5 and 4, we are going to need a three that is athletic, explosive, and defensive focused -- and more than anything else we need a three who can provide more weak side protection at the rim than the average SF.

And then on offense Eason is great in transition , which is something this young team needs to focused on.

Givony has us drafting Banchero (#3), Eason (#17), and Beauchamp (#26)

TyTy isn't that bad. I agreed there are plenty of wings this year. Will be disappointed if we don't get a defensive long wing this year.

Ugh. Would rather take Dalen Terry over TyTy.

Terry is the perfect point guard next to Green. Defensive-minded, 6’7 with a 7’0 wingspan, playmaking ability, has shooting potential with 50/36/74 splits, and has that ‘dog’ in him.

if we are a bottom 3 team next year and end up with pick #2 Scoot is the pick and will be starting there will be an odd man out.

Yup, Rockets have had interest in Ty Ty Washington for many months. They also have some interest in Jean Montero.

A lot of fans don't seem to be very happy that the Rockets have some degree of interest in Ty Ty Washington.

I am not entirely sure, he is an underrated player that was limited by the situation he was on last year.

He is a point guard, but had to play off ball next to a less talented midget.... he also was surrounded by non shooters which really destroyed his spacing or ability to drive to the basket.

If the Rockets take him at 17 it will be because they view him as too talented to pass up.

He can certainly be a fit for the Rockets.

Tari Eason is someone the Rockets have interest in too.

His defense and intensity are real and he is a good enough shooter to keep the defender honest.

He reminds me a lot of Wilson Chandler from DePaul but with more of an engine.

Griffin is the worst defender of all top 20 prospects, and it's not even close. Pass
